The Space:

This dog-friendly Dover Bay 'Cabin' has all the luxury and amenities you'll love while on vacation.  Located in the 'Cabin in the Woods' development, you're a short walk to everything in the Dover Bay Resort, and only 3 miles to downtown Sandpoint.  In winter, you're just 30 minutes away from Idaho's largest ski mountain, Schweitzer - downhill, cross country, snowmobiling, sledding and terrain park are world class.  Take advantage of the full service marina during summer months, including available boat slips, fueling station, the renowned Dish restaurant, and more.



Park in the full size garage and step into a peaceful, beautifully furnished home.  A stone fireplace anchors the living room and the kitchen is fully appointed, including great appliances.  A wrap-around covered deck will have you enjoying as many meals outside as you can, among the greenery of the landscaping, and includes an outdoor fireplace.  This home sits on the largest lot in the development - ideal for groups needing room to run and play yard games, and it's situated strategically to provide privacy for those wanting more of that remote, cabin-in-the-woods feel.



The main floor has a master bedroom with King bed, en suite.  A second bedroom with King bed, plus a full bathroom, full size laundry, kitchen, dining and living room make up the rest of the main level.  Upstairs is the 3rd large overflow bedroom with 2 bunk beds and full bathroom.  A tankless water heater provides endless hot water to the entire home, so your nice hot shower never has to end, even if all 3 showers are being used.



This four-season community is a 'hub' for all the fun Sandpoint, Lake Pend Oreille and Schweitzer have to offer.  In summer, you'll enjoy the many miles of pristine walking trails, boating on the lake, and biking the 4 miles into Sandpoint.  Migratory birds move through the area spring and fall, and the changing autumn colors are gorgeous here.



Balto Dog Park offers a beach and swimming area, along with a small playground and restrooms.  Note:  Lake Club Fitness is privately owned and is unfortunately not open to vacation rental guests at this home.   Book now!



Guest Access:

You'll receive an email 7 days prior to arrival and a text message 2 days prior to arrival with a Guest Guidebook. This will have the property's address, access code for door lock or lockbox location, WiFi information and area recommendations.

1.  Dover Bay Marina & Resort independently sets the costs & terms for Marina usage, Trailer storage, Daily/weekly rates are available.  

     a.  Trailers of any kind must be stored off site.  Dover Bay has a dedicated storage area and may charge a daily storage fee.  Please call them to ask and or arrange.
