A lovely cottage in a lovely setting

  • 5 of 5

This cottage was perfect for our stay outside of Sequoia National Park. It was well furnished, very clean, and had everything one would need to prepare meals. We loved the quiet and peaceful setting, the perfect place to watch hummingbirds as we ate outside or on the enclosed porch. Even though it was warm outside when we arrived, Vince had the cottage cooled down with the efficient air conditioner. Maya's gift of locally grown oranges made us feel like royalty! The oranges were absolutely delicious. We really appreciated the supermarket recommendation

Vince had sent us. Our short stay there was wonderful, and we would definitely visit again if the chance ever comes. Thank you Vince and Maya for providing such a beautiful place and being so hospitable!

Exquisite attention to details, private and secluded with easy access - fabulous!!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I visited for two days while exploring Sequoia National Park. This cottage is a text book example of perfection in design, decor and amenities. The location is close to the National Park for convenience but private and secluded. Our host was terrific with reservations, payment and meeting us upon arrival. We thought the price was a bargain. The five star reviews are well deserved. Highly recommended. I have provided my personal photographs of "Sequoia View Cottage" at the link below.

Lives Up to High Expectations

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful trip and stay, perfect location and view that can't be beat. This place was designed and built by the owner and it is clear how much thought and quality went into the place. We've been to some VRBOs that are sparse but this place has all the right touches, down to the flashlights to use to head outside for an evening of stargazing. The house is 100 yards off North Fork, which is a side road - so the dominant noises are birds and the roaring creek; the perfect base camp for the Sequoias.

Visiting the Sequoias in the spring was great - crowded on the weekend but the weekday was glorious. Everything down low is green and blooming, and up top there were a few inches of snow on the ground.

P.S. We got the additional bed for our daughter and it worked great - tucks into a corner with plenty of room left.

Peaceful Mountain Escape short drive from Sequoia National Park

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here for a long weekend trip to see the sequoia trees. Perfectly situated and stocked cabin near the park entrance. The house is beautifully built and designed by Vince and Maya. Careful touches ensure that everywhere in the cabin is a new comfortable place to enjoy, from star gazing on the patio with blankets, to having coffee in the screened in porch listening to the birds, to sitting in the living room watching the sun set over the mountains. Vince had great recommendations for food in Three Rivers, we especially enjoyed our stop at Reimers for candy. We enjoyed every moment and cannot wait to come back again!

Simply Wow!! Wonderful Cabin...Cordial hosts

  • 5 of 5

We stayed there for a couple days in Sept 2016. There is plenty of space to relax and make you feel at home

The cabin bettered our expectations, owners have predicted your needs and provided excellent cookware, grill, bedding, etc. There is a great stock of material information about Sequoia & Kings Canyon Parks and if you have any queries, Maya and Vince will be glad to help. Cottage is 2 minutes from restaurants, grocery store and maybe 10 minutes form Park entrance.

Maya took my son in her small tractor to see and feed horses…..Bounty and Hugger. My son was so happy there that he was not ready to come back home.

Wish I had a way to give more than 5 stars...cannot go wrong with this rental!

Just got home from staying a week in Sequoia View Cottage and it was one of the best vacations we have ever had! The cabin exceeded our expectations, owners have anticipated your needs and supplied quality cookware, grill, bedding, etc. There is a large supply of material information about Sequoia & Kings Canyon Parks and if you have any questions, Maya and Vince will be glad to suggest places to go see, eat, hike, etc. Cottage is 2 minutes from restaurants, grocery store and maybe 10 minutes form Park entrance. Lovely little village. Will be back!! Wish I had a way to give more than 5 stars...cannot go wrong with this rental!
