Questa è la nostra vacanza in casa sul lago per la nostra famiglia. C'è una vista panoramica sul bellissimo lago Mayfield. C'è un mazzo avvolgente al livello superiore su tre lati. Abbiamo arredato la casa di 3090 piedi quadrati per ospitare la nostra famiglia in continua espansione. Abbiamo un garage con un appartamento loft con 2 camere da letto accanto (vedi vrbo 307616). Sia la casa che il garage sono attualmente proprietà per le vacanze. Tra i due edifici, ci sono alloggi per 20+ persone.

La casa dispone di 1 letto king size, 2 letti queen size, 6 letti singoli e 2 divani letto queen-size. Mettiamo un materasso in memory foam sui materassi del divano per renderli abbastanza comodi. La cucina è predisposta per permetterti di cucinare o ci sono diversi ristoranti a breve distanza in auto.

La vera opportunità di questa posizione e impostazione è che questo è un ottimo posto dove stare e rilassarsi o essere attivo come si desidera essere. Il lago Mayfield si formò quando fu costruita una diga sul fiume Cowlitz. Il lago Mayfield offre canottaggio, sport acquatici, pesca (8 varietà), caccia e Ike Kinswa State Park per il nuoto e altre attività per bambini. Il varo più vicino e l'accesso al lago è presso l'Ike Kinswa State Park, che dista solo 2 miglia di auto dalla casa. Per il parcheggio nel parco statale è necessario un Discover Pass. C'è la pesca sportiva sul Cowlitz (salmone e steelhead in stagione), escursioni sulle colline e sulle montagne, sci / imbarco negli inverni del White Pass e visite turistiche nella Cascade Range.

Un disco a Randle, WA ti mette immerso nel mezzo del Monte. Rainier, Mt. Adams e Mt. St. Helens. La bellezza naturale della zona mi fa ancora meravigliare dopo anni di divertimento. Ci sono ristoranti, passeggiate a cavallo e altri servizi nelle piccole città della zona con il tipo di gente che è calda e accogliente.

A great stay

We were able to get family together from Olympia, Portland and Oklahoma to celebrate the holiday. The children loved going to the Lake Mayfield swim beaches. The adults loved the amaraderie.

Wedding weekend

This house was perfect for our family to stay when attending a wedding in onalaska. The check in process was great, house was well stocked and spotless. We also rented the space over the garage and it was also amazing! This is the 2nd time we rented this property.

Wonderful place for family and friends to gather

The house was perfect for us. We had a funeral, and the house was a “stop by” place for friends and family. It could not have been nicer. Beautiful view, peaceful place. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and supplies. Comfortable beds! Ping pong and foosball tables kept the kids entertained while the grown ups talked. :)

Such a positive experience on this property. This is the best VRBO property we have stayed at to date. Exceptionally clean. Owners and property manager are very attentive to communication and details. Highly Recommended! Nice large house to accommodate our large family group.

Wonderful place

We loved the place. The owners were so very nice and responded quickly to my questions. The amenities were above and beyond what might be needed or wanted for a getaway with friends and family. Beautiful spacious home with an amazing view of the lake. The drive to the lake was minutes away.

The manager was exceptionally helpful checking in. Very nice, extremely spacious, well equipped house. Would sleep ten to twelve people comfortably. Any more would have to sleep on futons on the floor. A little disappointed that the hot tub listed was only a jetted bath tub.

Remote Tranquility

It worked well for our fishing trip to the Cowlitz. The view from the deck is beatutiful! We enjoyed the ping pong table. The coffee maker uses cone filters and all that was stocked was round filters.

Great home away from home!

Very roomy and light. Lots of space to relax and visit. Everything was very clean and welcoming. Everyone in our group commented on how well it worked for us. We had 9 adults and 4 children, and everyone was comfortable. We had a great day trip to Paradise at Mt. Rainier and to Ohanapecosh (something we adults grew up doing). Loved it! Thank you Darrel and Lynda for sharing your home!

Great House for Customer Fishing Trip

This is the second time we have stayed in this house (Both times, Guys Fishing Trip). We had five guys stay this year and we all had our own room to sleep in, which is great. The kitchen had all the pots/pans/utensils/spices/etc. Plenty of counter space and room for cooking. We BBQ'd on the deck one night, which was great. Great view of Mayfield Lake!!!!!!! Very clean and organized, plenty of towels, etc. We will be back again. Thanks for everything.

Hiking Girls

Seven of us stayed at this wonderful house for our annual girls' hiking weekend. The house was perfect! Completely stocked (better than any we've ever stayed at), 3 bathrooms (a necessity with 7 women!), extremely roomy, large enough table, decks and furniture very comfortable and accommodating. The views were amazing. The neighborhood is very picturesqe. There was absolutely nothing that we were disappointed in or wished was different. The hiking options were somewhat limited, so I don't think we would go there again for that purpose, but for day use, Mayfield Lake is amazing for families . . . lots of roped off areas for swimming, rentable boats and kayaks, fishing, etc. We highly recommend this house!

Customer Fishing Trip

The house is as advertised. Clean, Neat, Everything Advertised. Plenty of space for our group of 5 guys to sleep comfortably. The Kitchen is stocked with all the items a kitchen should have. One thing I would change is to take out some of the food items in the fridge and freezer. There was left over ice cream in the freezer and misc stuff left in the door of the fridge(not enough room for all of our stuff for our four day stay). One thing I would add are Pictures/Paintings on the walls. It takes away from the home feeling with empty walls. Great view from the deck while cooking on the grill and enjoying the surrounding mountains and Mayfield Lake. The owners were very helpful with details and getting us set up from the beginning. The power was out prior to us arriving and the neighbors had lanterns and flashlights ready to go. We fished the Cowlitz River for Steelhead and had a great time. We lucked out on the weather and caught some great looking fish. I would recommend this place to others.

Lynda and Darrel Libby own two properties side-by-side. We live in Vancouver, WA currently, and spend every other weekend at Mayfield Lake. In 2010 we built the garage/apartment next to the house for our future needs. We rent out the house and apartment when we are not using it.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

I like to fish, hike, hunt, and enjoy watching the sun rise over the lake and reflect a warm welcome to a new day. This vacation spot is 75 minutes driving time from our home in Vancouver and just under 2 hours from downtown Seattle. We have kids in both locations, so this was hopefully thinking ahead towards visiting the grandkids. It is in a quiet neighborhood set away from cities. There is a small stop on the way called Salkum, which has the basic groceries. Mossyrock is 12 minutes away with a few more shops. Chehalis and Centralia have a good variety of shops and indoor activities.

Relaxation for those needing to get away. If you are more active, then the variety of outdoor activities will keep your interest. This VRBO rental is a great way to vacation at a destination location without breaking the bank.
