There is a "for sale" sign in front and we felt like things had already been moved, Bare bones and some things just weren't there. We went shopping for dishwasher soap, hand towels and pot holders right away There was no welcome pack so there were things we had to go looking for Some of the furniture was broken and a couple cabinet fronts as well. When we rent a place for 7 people we expect to be able to sit and eat together but there were only 6 dining room chairs The first morning we discovered that the coffee pot didn't work We were provided a new one, later in the day - a tiny 5 cup unit . We agreed that our host is not invested in this property for a VRBO and probably doesn't care about hearing what needs to be fixed,

Great Family Trip

This house was in the perfect location for a family wedding that we attended. Those of us that traveled had plenty of space to stay comfortably, visit with each other and attend all of the scheduled events. The owners responded quickly to all of our questions. We would definitely stay at this beautiful house again.

Perfect for a family get together

We were in Rochester for a wedding and this house was perfect to accommodate 2 families - lots of rooms and bathrooms so everyone had enough space. It was a great location to everything we needed. The owners were very responsive. Jenny

Convenient location. Plenty of space for privacy. Our whole family was here for 5 days for my husband’s heart surgery at Mayo. Owners were very accommodating with our family’s situation. The number of people fluctuated through the week and owners were very accommodating to our family needs. Highly recommend and will stay here again if needed. Thank you.

I have stayed at many VRBOs and I’ve always given a 5 star positive review. This time I can’t do it. Positives about the house: when I called the owner about the bathrooms needing a deep clean and a drain needing to be snaked, she sent someone right over. The house is large and easily accommodated a wedding group. The mattresses are pretty comfortable and the sheets are nice and there was plenty of hot water.The negatives: the house and furnishings need major updating. You’ll need to bring your own toilet paper, dishwasher soap, baking pans and trays, paper towels, spatula…the kitchen is sparsely stocked. We thought some of the bath towels were cleaning rags but couldn’t find other towels. The house is centrally located but right by the Mayo St. Mary’s heliport. The house has a lot of potential.
