Poppy's Paradise is named after our youngest puppy, she is full of personality and an overabundance of love, much like what we have attempted to bring to this home! Located directly next door to Oakley's Oasis and Dee Dee's Den all of our homes are in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood next to Silver Lake, and less than 10 minutes to Mayo Clinic. We have been blessed to host hundreds of guests, and work hard to ensure you have an relaxing and restorative experience with us at Dharma Dwellings!
About the Space:
➤Three Spacious bedrooms 2 upstairs and 1 in the basement. The large bedrooms are unique to most of the homes in town.
➤We hope that you are impressed with the Quartz countertops and large open style floorplan of the kitchen and living room. The kitchen contains all the pots and pans you may need.
➤Any amenities you could need including Coffee, tea, and cooking oil and spices provided. We will have everything you should need to make yourself at home! Let us know if there's something specific you need!
➤ Home theater of the basement large screen 4k TVs up and downstairs, boardgames, and an over the air antenna with 25 local HD channels provided.
➤Outdoor Patio with table and an Electric Grill
➤Full service snow removal/ice melt to ensure you are able to get to your appointments.
➤Large 3 stall garage (see photos!) Available parking in the driveway (in front of the blue garage, or street parking)
➤ Three homes in close proximity provides us unparalleled ability to provide flexibility for your stay should you need to extend based on Mayo testing or complications
Guest Access
➤You have the entire house to yourself. Everything in the home is yours to use during your stay.
➤We do share the garage with our guests next door. (each home gets a stall). Right next door is Oakley's Oasis and on the corner is Dee Dee's Den our other homes! Say hello to your neighbors!
➤Just a heads up that we have cameras on the front and back of the home, which ensure that no uninvited guests/thieves are on the premises. There are no cameras in the home.
➤We may need to access the house based on any potential problems or necessary repairs, but will let you know!
Other Details:
➤We have commodes, shower chairs, and bed railings available for those with limited mobility issues. Let us know in advance so we can get them for you.
➤We provide a pack-n-play and high chair for those with little ones! Let us know in advance so we can get it for you.
➤All of our sheets and bedding are hypoallergenic for those with allergy or sensitivity issues.

Anfitrião: Alex and Emily Schmitt
We are newlyweds living and loving in the Med City. Emily is a practicing Occupational Therapist at Mayo Clinic, and Alex just graduated from Physician Assistant school. We met at Lawrence University, where we both attended college.
Our favorite things include...
1. Goldendoodles - talk doodle to us, and we'll be fast friends :) We adore our one-year-old pup, Rory. We now have a recent addition of a new puppy Poppy!
2. Good food - Indian and Thai are two of our favorites, but we'll never turn down a good pizza. (anything really...) We like food.
3. Yoga - we love practicing yoga at home! Wanna start? We can share some of our favorite YouTube channels with you!
4. Board Games - the nerdy kind... the ones most people have never heard of... Terra Mystica, Lords of Waterdeep, or Pandemic to name a few! But if you're nice, we may even play the classics with you!
5. Walking/hiking - whether simply walking our neighborhood, hitting the local trails, or hiking Devil's Lake in Wisconsin, we enjoy getting out in nature. Our puppies come too, of course!
We value meeting and developing new relationships with those who come through our doors. Our mission is to treat you as if you were our own family! You can learn more about us at DharmaDwellings!

We love this neighborhood and had the ability to purchase this home when the person who remodeled the house decided they weren't going to keep the property. We love being able to share the large garage next door and create a neighborhood type feel amongst those staying with us at Dharma Dwellings!
