All about the water #3 of 3-Pet-friendly!

We are born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. We love all things about the water- fishing, snorkeling, surfing, skiing, boating, and scalloping. This little "lakehouse" is our happy place away from the big city - and most likely our retirement home! We can just sit by the water, enjoy the breeze under the cypress canopy while Greg fishes with the cane pole. Lazy days are important for normally very busy people, and we are very happy to share this little time away from the hustle -n-bustle. Come on over, sit and relax!

We are always available for emergencies. Please be reasonable and patient for any non-emergency after 10pm.

Why this place? Because you can really get away! We don't hear sirens or traffic, just fish popping in the canal, boats going nearby, birds talking, and the occasional hum of a lawnmower. Leave the city behind and really enjoy nature!

LOCATION: This is quiet fishing-boating area. Has been for years and is the primary reason for guests to return each year. Please check out your other destinations planned. This home is one hour car ride to St Augustine, Flagler Beach, and Silver Springs, and two hours from Orlando Theme parks. No negative reviews for "location" due to poor planning.

BOAT RAMP: Guest can use the Wooten Road boat ramp. If water is too low or have a bigger boat, Drayton Island Ferry is 1.5 miles south & is free. Our property has 3 parking spaces inside the gate. Extras can park across the street. You can leave your boat in the water your entire stay.

WATERFRONT: this property is a fishing cabin and while well-maintained with paid professional pest services, webs & dust can accumulate quickly. We provide a gentle -human safe - mint pest spray to use as you need. Any true issue should be reported immediately. Sugar ants, blind mosquitos, and mosquitos are frequent. During swarming seasons, leave lights off outside and near doors and keep doors closed. Do not leave out sweet/breads. Place in frig.

STARTER PACK: 1 paper towel roll, 4 rolls of toilet paper, dishwashing and hand soap, reusable coffee grounds filter and one laundry pod/sheet. Salt & pepper and other spices have been left by other happy guests. Free to use as you desire!

By car, St. Augustine, Flagler Beach and Silver Glen are one hour, Orlando theme parks are two hours. So, a negative feedback regarding location is poor planning on guest part.
