Great Stay

This is a beautiful property quiet and peaceful. We did not have Ocean views but looked out on a golf course and a lovely tropical garden. The beach nearby is an interesting one as theres a lot of fish and coral thats growing. This was an experience in itself. It is located a few miles out of the town which was exactly what i was looking for.

Alaskan Framily Vacation 2024

Great Location for beaches. Walking distance to the Mall was a plus. Teens enjoyed the pool. Our condo was good except the floor hadn’t been mopped in awhile because it turn our feet and socks black. Oh yeah bring your own toilet paper for sure. Nice and quiet area. We had a bbq under the pavilion that was nice.

Nice location.

Good ground floor location. No AC, bad TV bo beach towlls and limited beach toys.. Property is VERRY nice.

Nice place

My family of 6 stayed here on our vacation and it was so beautiful! The pool was great and there is a nice section of ‘rocky’ beach just a 10 minute walk from this condo. It was very convenient that there was beach items available to use in the closet. The kitchen has everything you need for basic cooking and a nice big fridge.

Vacay rental

We enjoyed the condo. The pool was great. Very quiet. The dishwasher needs to be looked at. It ran for like 2 hours and the door popped open during the cycle. Was disappointed that we didn’t have an ocean view. When I booked it said we had an ocean front view from our condo. Overall a nice place to stay.

Could have been better

The location was good. The floors were very dirty, and no mop was provided, the couch was dirty so had to cover it with a sheet, there is no air conditioning but fans are provided. It took several calls to get enough bath towels for our party. There were not enough supplies provided we had to purchase items like washing machine soap, paper products, etc. Most of the pots and pans were unusable because teflon was all scratched up.

There were a lot of amenities at the place The kitchen needed some upgrades in pots and pans There needed to be some cloths for cleaning the stove and sink There needed to be some trivets for when hot pans were brought to table An air mattress did not hold air

we couldn't get through the gate with the code given the toiletries were lack - no tissue, shampoo, soap, or laundry soap was brought later I phoned as a fan was broken he did his best to make me happy he allowed to stay until our flight out it was great we enjoyed our stay

Ok place to stay

For the amount of money we paid, I had a lot higher expectations. It’s not the worst place to stay, but it could definitely be better. When we arrived, we had to deal with dirty dishes, throw away trash that was left in the kitchen garbage can, and fold towels that were left in the dryer. The property manager left a note that said he would be back the next day to fix some things. We never saw or heard from him. Window shades in the living room and bedroom were not fully functional, so we were not able to have privacy if needed. The linens should definitely be upgraded. The towels and bed sheets were dingy and stained. The pillows were small and not very comfortable. We really liked the complex, and the location is great. A few minor fixes would easily make this rental a 5* for us.

Australian girls visit Kona

The property was beautiful. Gardens were a tropical delight & our apartment on the ground floor was private & tranquil. The apartment itself was spacious & had 2 bathrooms, which was a big plus for 3 women. It also had a washer & dryer & more than enough towels, both bath & beach. The pool & tennis courts were great & we had parking right at the front door. It was an easy drive into town. The kitchen had everything we needed & we found games & puzzles in the cupboards too, which we used. The only negative was that there was no wine glasses, but we made do, it was a small issue. It was a last minute booking for us only 3 days before we left Australia & the information for check came through within a few minutes of us booking. It couldn't have been more prompt. I'm a regular visitor to Kona & will definitely stay again!

A pleasant stay

The property location is really good as it's just minutes away from kahalu bay and magic sands beach . The property itself has a shoreline access (no beach access) for sunset views.We travelled with 2 kids and the lawns that extend from the patio were a boon to us. The property comes equipped with dish washer, washer and dryer plus basic utensils, it also provided guests with boogie boards , snorkelling masks and life jackets which we found to be really thoughtful. One gripe is that it gets hot even with the standing fan provided. Other properties with similar pricing offers air conditioning. The property manager is reachable however there is certain amount of delay in communication and it's not instantaneous. Overall a very pleasant stay . Would recommend especially for the location and proximity to the beaches .

Suited Our Purposes

I don’t usually leave reviews like this because we are pretty mellow people, but hopefully this will help the owner to make improvements to keep their ratings up and guests returning as it’s in a great location. We stayed four nights though and there were some issues. We ran out of toilet paper and paper towels. There was only one extra full roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and no extra rolls of paper towels. The closet door in the main hallway fell on my daughter when we opened it and there was a missing part to rehang it. There weren’t any containers with lids to put extra food in. And the owner said he would bring us a new tv since the one there wasn’t working and he tried to fix it as well. He was a really nice person, but he never brought a new tv that we were aware of because we couldn’t get the tv to work, and he never let us know if he actually did replace the tv. We just wanted to have a movie night on our vacation. On the flip side, we were able to check-in early and the owner did respond to our call right away.

Lovely setting

The place was comfortable and the gardens are exceptional. Lack of ac only problem the day one person had to stay home sick. AC is nice, but if only evenings and mornings it is okay without. The floor made all our soles of our feet dirty, but maybe that due to all the sand that is so easily carried in. Managers replied to questions quickly, which was nice.

Property completely adequate, no AC. And TV was not live/current channels. But otherwise condo was fine enough. We had a great time. Dave.
