Beachmount House selfcatering is situated over looking Ventry Harbour and Dingle Bay. It is a 5 bedroom house sleeping up to 10 people comfortably. Linen and towels included and High Chair and Cot also included. Within walking distance of Ventry Village with the pub, post office / mini market, restaurant and the very beautiful Blue Flag Beach of Ventry. Dingle way walk and the Pilgrim close by. With rugged landscapes and panoramic views, it is the ideal place for hill-walking and those who enjoy the great outdoors. Also situated nearby, is Mount Brandon, one of the highest mountains in Ireland. Five minutes from the house is Long's horse riding and trekking centre, with guided tours of the locality which caters from beginners to the more experienced riders. Within a short drive of Slea Head the most South Westerly point in Ireland next stop being 'America'. It is also where Ryan's Daughter and Far and Away was filmed. You will stay with us once and you will return again and again.Large garden overlooking Ventry Harbour and Dingle Bay with patio furniture. Private parking.

Amazing Vacation Home in Ventry

Our group of 6 siblings and in-laws absolutely loved our stay at this home in Ventry. Everything in the house was perfect, comfortable and very clean. We loved sitting on the patio looking at the bay, walking to the pub (3 minutes), a little further to the beach and the small road that went by fields. It is a short drive to Dingle which we all enjoyed as well. Definitely everyone's favorite place of our trip! Thanks, Breda!!

Fabulous location and view!

Perfect vacation rental! Out of the congestion of Dingle, but still able to walk to pub, store and beach in Ventry. Breda was so kind. We had hoped to see a sheepdog herd the sheep. Breda and her husband researched and found us a name and number to call. Just what we looking for. Highly recommend this location ❤️❤️❤️

Ventry Visit 2024

Family trip to Ireland

This property is perfect. There were 9 of us so having 3 bathrooms was very nice. We enjoyed playing board games in the living room looking out over Dingle Bay. There was a beautiful rainbow outside the kitchen window our first morning while we were gathering for coffee. Beds were comfortable. Breda was fantastic. My kids even got to shoot a few hoops in the driveway. I would highly recommend this home.

Perfect location

Thanks Breda for sharing your home with us. Loved the location overlooking the water and walking to pub. House was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our short stay. Only which we had more time to spend on the Dingle Peninsula. Thanks for the suggestion to do the Slea Head Drive. The views were breathe taking. Also enjoyed the town of Dingle. Would recommend the Dingle Falconry Experience walk with a Hawk. Was a highlight of our trip to Ireland.

Fantastic place to stay in a beautiful area

We had a lovely stay for a week. The house was very clean and has everything you would need to have including dishwasher tablets and washing liquid. There is a dishwasher, washer and dryer and a laundry line outside. There were 3 bathrooms in total and large enough bedrooms. The only thing I might say is the sound does travel a little down the hallways of the bedrooms so be sure to close doors to kitchen if others are sleeping. Breda was very friendly and helpful. We even were able to get a taxi from Ventry to Dingle for a nice night out and a meal. The house is an ideal location in Ventry and there is a pub and a small shop down the road. Outside was very well kept and some tables and chairs to enjoy the outside which we did as the weather was great. Would not hesitate to recommend to others.

WONDERFUL STAY!

My best friend and I and 4 family members stayed at Breda's house in Ventry and everyone said that it was the best VRBO house we stayed in during our whole Ireland trip. Breda arrived at the house right on time and showed us how to work everything in the house. The house was perfectly clean and the beds were super comfortable. And what a location! BEAUTIFUL doesn't describe the view. The photos don't do the house/location justice. We walked down to the local restaurant that Breda recommended (Quinn's) and the food was so amazing that we ate there two nights. Loved that the pub was walking distance from the house. Breda was a wonderful host and I'd definitely recommend anyone stay here. When I come back with my husband I'll check to see if this house is available (despite it having way more bedrooms than we'd need) because everything about it was just perfect. Thanks Breda!

Dingle stay

We stayed here for the last few days of our Ireland trip. There were eight in our party, the youngest being 13. We had plenty of space and additional blankets for each person, which we used in the evenings. Breda was welcoming and met us to go over everything we might need to know about the property. The weather wasn't great, so we did not get to take advantage of the views and outdoor activities as much as we normally would have. It was a couple minutes to Dingle where we had great experiences. We especially enjoyed Murphy's pub and Harrington's Family restaurant. The view was fantastic for the small amounts of time the fog lifted or the rain abated. We did have a small amount of time at the beach near by. Beautiful and clean. The only negative aspects of this property are the washer/dryer and the internet. The laundry is small for the size of property and takes a long time to complete. You get one towel person, so it is not feasible to wash them and your own clothing if you are gone for large portions of the day, as we were. The wifi is not consistent, as in common is areas that are remote, so if you are planning to work or need reliable wifi, this is not the property. Fortunately, I was able to use a hot spot for my needs. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the Dingle Peninsula.

Loved our stay!

Our family group stayed at Breda's lovely home for a few days. We had plenty of room and all the amenities. We were close enough to Dingle to have some fun but far enough away to get a quiet moment or two. Take some time and ride the horses on the beach and grab some good food or a pint at the restaurant down the hill. Our stay was perfect. Thanks Breda! Hope to be back and visit the Dingle Peninsula again!

Beautiful view of Ventry Bay out the front window and out the side window mountains. The beach was nice to walk on and there were a lot of shells on it. Breda was nice enough to meet us and show the way the house. That was so appreciated after our trip from Dublin!

Beautiful house!

I’m so glad we chose this house. Beautiful views, lots of space it had it all. This house is a short drive to Dingle town (close to 10 minutes) we did it easily, so you have the best of both worlds. We love the beach so this stay was ideal. In the mornings we could get up and walk miles of beaches stop at our favorite pub Quinn’s for an espresso or lunch, it was perfect. We recommend doing a boat tour, Breda had lots of info on activities. My teens said this was a highlight of the trip. I agree! We will definitely be back!

Ideal for a group getaway

My friends and I had the best weekend at Breda’s house in Ventry. The house was bright and airy with the most stunning views. The location catered perfectly to our needs as we were climbing Mt Brandon. Ventry is such a beautiful place and I would highly recommend a visit. It was so handy having the local pub within walking distance for some tasty seafood and a nice relaxing pint. We were also close enough to Dingle to be able to pop in and out at our leisure. Breda couldn’t have been more helpful and she made the whole experience a pleasure. We’ll definitely be back!

A warm, comfortable house with beautiful views and a great owner.

We had a wonderful stay in this house. There were 6 of us and we had room to spare. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of room for meals and games. The bathrooms and showers modern with plenty of hot water. The living room is large with stunning views and a fireplace for cozy evenings. It is located just a few miles from all the activities in Dingle but without all the tourists in that town. There is a small grocery and a good pub just a quarter of a mile away. Breda is most helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We recommend this house highly. The Ring of Dingle is a fascinating area with ancient structures and breathtaking scenery. We drove it three times and saw new things each day.

Simply the best!

We have stayed in this home many times. We wouldn't stay anywhere else. The home is well appointed. It is always spotless and supplied with plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. We love that most of the rooms look out to the ocean, even the kitchen. It sure makes doing dishes a pleasure to be able to look out at Mount Eagle and watch the sun go down. Walkings to Quinns pub or to the Skipper restaurant are an added bonus. There is plenty of room for a large group. The fireplace can really kick out some heat on a cold night. We love making a nice fire and curling up to watch a good movie. This home is locally owned so if you have an issue it is resolved quickly and with care. The owners are very friendly and will make sure your stay is amazing!

Beautiful house and location

We recently stayed at Beachmount House with extended family. There were nine of us and there was plenty of room. The owner, Breda, was very easy to work with. The house was exceptionally clean and the views as shown - simply beautiful. During our stay we spent time in Dingle, enjoyed the quality entertainment a the pubs, walked along Ventry Bay, saw impressive Connor Pass and drove along Slea Head Drive and saw the bee hive huts, ring forts and numerous other interesting historical sights and the beautiful mountains and sea coast. We also took a boat ride out to the Blasket Islands. I highly recommend this house and location.

As is the norm for this house=Still Fantastic

I have posted several reviews for this house over the years. Why? Because it is the only place I want to come "home" to!! Regardless of all the laurels I could continue to speak of, this house and its owner are just the best. From the time you step into the house till the time you leave, the experience is just wonderful. Fresh flowers and a bottle of wine sit on the kitchen table waiting for you. The views from the front rooms (bedrooms and family room) and the kitchen are just fantastic as one sees Ventry Harbor and beach, the Atlantic, and the surrounding mountains. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. And the list goes on and on and on. One needs to experience this house personally to understand its value. My only regret is leaving. The only rewarding factor is looking forward to returning. You cannot go wrong so treat yourself!!
