THE SUN, MOON & STARS

Unit 511 - Holiday Isle. A direct gulf view condo tastefully furnished 2 bedroom / 2 bath, sleeping 6, with King in Master, Queen and twin bunk beds in 2nd bedroom. A beautiful view from the balcony complete with 2 loungers, table that seats 6 and electric grill. One of two units on fifth floor that has an outside entrance to lobby, complete with additional seating and amazing views of the bay. The living area and master bedroom have separate balcony access. Large flat screen tv's are located in living area, master bedroom and 2nd bedroom. Dining area has farmhouse table that seats 6 with additional 4 counter stools.
Unit amenities include internet access, well-stocked kitchen, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops in kitchen and baths, bubble tub and separate shower in master bedroom. Separate laundry room with washer and dryer. Bed and bath linens provided. Beach towels are located in second bedroom closet.

Holiday Isle amenities include elevator access, lighted tennis court, fitness center, gated security entrance, indoor pool with hot tub, outdoor pool, covered garage parking with (3) vehicle maximum, steam room, dry sauna, (2) outdoor electric grills for community use, private boardwalk to the beach.

Unit amenities include internet access, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops in kitchen and baths, balcony access from living area & master bedroom, bubble tub in master bath with separate shower.

No parking area provided for boats or recreational vehicles.

The pool and proximity to the beach were great. I loved that there were plenty of towels and the kitchen was well supplied for cooking. One of the elevators didn't go to our floor so we had to maneuver around that all week. I would appreciate more things like paper towels and especially trash bags with such an extensive departure checklist. The front door is right by an exterior access door which is kind of loud and sounds like someone walking through the front door. Wasn't a huge problem, we got used to it, but maybe something to be aware of. It was very family-friendly and every interaction we had was enjoyable

The beach is soooooo far! With littles it would have been impossible without a wagon. It’s thank goodness mostly a boardwalk but still a good ways thru not so great marsh that doesn’t absorb water great!!! We did have a blast at the beach. The pictures are apparently dated bc it had different furniture. From looking at the pictures from the condo I would have thought you were a lot closer. I love to sit on the balcony at night and hear the waves, but all you heard is frogs. The crab were amazing to go see at night and a huge horse crab had died and was laying on the shore so we got to show the kids that. The beach has black sand which is amazing but HOTTTT!!!! The pool is unique bc of the Pilar’s. The staff was very helpful and nice. Overall I would go again. There was ONE small pot so that was an issue. There are NO MAINSTREAM grocery stores on the island so we took a lot of food. Interesting to try to cook with one medium size pot only. It grossed me out that there were DOG BOWLS stored with the POTS! The cooking things were not good at all… like what you would see discarded from someone’s kitchen. Very random cooking things for a beach vaca rental without having necessities.
