Check-Out: Since there’s a cleaning fee included, we keep check-out stress-free. As long as the home isn’t left in poor condition, you can simply enjoy a last cup of coffee before heading out!



Gardens: We’re proud of our green spaces and have a dedicated gardener. He doesn’t follow a fixed schedule, but you may see him tending the grounds when needed. Thanks for your understanding and appreciation!



Trash & Recycling: The city requires all waste to be sorted properly into garbage, recycling, and compost bins. Please help us avoid fines by placing items in the correct cans.



House Rules:



- All guests must sign a rental agreement and provide a copy of government ID prior to check-in.

- For non-Airbnb bookings, a credit card hold is required as a deposit. This is automatically released after your stay, provided no damages occur.

- Early check-ins (before 4 PM) require host approval. A confirmed booking does not guarantee early access — please message us to check availability.

- For local guests: we’ll call to verify your reservation before check-in. We do not accept Google Voice or service phone numbers, and reserve the right to cancel if this is the case.

- For cancellations, refund amount will only be 96%, there will be a cancellation fee of 4% of the total reservation amount.

Darling place

Chico Stay

We stayed three nights in Chico to attend a family birthday party. This Boho house was clean and the beds comfy. It is next to a busy street, but we were not bothered by any traffic noises. The air conditioner worked well . Easy access to the main Highway.

Family vacation

Everything was perfect at the house. Very clean, loved all the plants, the decor was very well thought out. Plenty enough room for 3 adults. Very nice seating area in the back yard for morning coffee. Bit of a busy street but didn’t cause any issues to us, just have to pay attention leaving the driveway. We will be returning to Chico and staying here again.

Nice Little Bungalow

Nice, little home. It was really clean inside the home. The street in front of the home is a bit busy at times, and cars speed through that area. Parking was no problem, there was usually one spot on the street and one spot in the driveway. The property did not have address address numbers, but the owner was upfront with that when he sent me the house rules. I would stay again.

Roomy and Cozy stay, listing needs updates

As someone who frequents short term rentals, I rely a lot on reviews left by others so I want to be as informative as possible. This house is beautifully furnished and has great updated heating and cooling; it feels very safe and comfortable and we all enjoyed the space. It was very clean as well. The stove top works but the oven does not; be prepared for that if planning on cooking here. The beds are NOT king size- they are queen. The check in process felt kind of stressful, as when Angie’s Stay (who manages the listing it seems) sent the lock code via VRBO and it was redacted and didn’t show. It just required extra hassle and communication but it was resolved quickly. Also this listing uses ‘Superhog’ for guest verification, which took me by surprise and added another mandatory charge for booking. All told, though listed at around a certain amount we ended up paying close to a lot of additional fees for the one night. A many night stay would be more cost effective. Beautiful spot, just wanted to share things I wished I knew.

This was my first Verbo home I’ve rented and Mo made it easy! Communication was great. We visited in July and it was HOT out, as soon as we stepped into the house I was delighted! The AC was set perfectly. It was cool and super clean. The BoHome was bigger then I expected. My Dad enjoyed the comfortable living room to watch his news while I walked two blocks to Bidwell Park. Highlight of the location. We sat five comfortably in the living room. The kitchen was big and had basic amenities. A big bowl of ice was in the freezer! Thank you!!! Fenced in back yard was private. Beds were comfortable, AC in bedrooms, shower pressure was great. Big driveway, you’ll need a spotter to help you back out onto the busy road but there’s street parking. Big trees shade the house. A little bit of sap from the front tree so shoes off before coming into the house. My car didn’t get any on it so that was good. Great location, an amazing antique mall and natural food store, right down the street! I would recommend staying here, the location is very convenient to hop on and off the highway, walking in Bidwell, and close to downtown.

TERRIBLE location on one of the busiest one-way streets in Chico. Parking is a nightmare bc the neighbors take the street spots, and it is difficult to back in d/t busy and FAST traffic and BEWARE of the huge tree almost in the driveway. The front door was UNLOCKED upon arrival and would NOT lock from outside. Door would only lock from the inside when putting all your weight against the door. Not secure! DIRTY. GROSS. The toilet had urine under the rim that had been there AWHILE. There were pubic hairs in shower and exposed spackle in shower from an unfinished project? There was no shower liner (they showed up unannounced on day 6 to bring the liner and clean the cobwebs that had been there for weeks). NO oven, only a stove! They said the pilot was out, yet did not fix it when they arrived unannounced. This is a very old and poorly insulated home. It is so loud from road noise it is not peaceful. Some nice interior aspects, but there is a reason there are so few pictures. Also, there is NO pool. There is a non functional hot tub. This place is not a good place to stay. There are much nicer areas!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Buyer BEEARE! We rented this property for two nights, in order to move our son into the dorms at Chico State. I was looking for something close to campus. Based upon the photos, and the two existing reviews, I thought this would be a good fit. I had a small communication with the owner prior to our stay, they were quick to respond and pleasant. That is where the good stops. Upon check in we quickly realized that the photos were very misleading. The property was in disrepair, and filthy. If showering with cobwebs, using other people’s dirty towels and sleeping with bugs is your jam, then this is the place for you. We would have been willing to overlook some things, but using dirty linens is where I draw the line. The home is sparsely, stocked, and offered no additional linens for sofa sleeper or anything else. I immediately contacted the owners with my concerns. Their response was that they would come by the following morning with linens. When I told them that was unacceptable, we had nothing to sleep or bathe with, they stopped responding. I spent 45 minutes on hold two times with VRBO customer service. They assured me that they would contact the owner and find resolve for the situation. We were uncomfortable, staying in such circumstances, we left before our stay was over. We paid a fortune for last minute accommodations elsewhere. The property owner has yet to follow through on communication as promised. shame on them. FYI, they own many Air B&B/VRBO’s in the area.
