Location, Location, Location - Our modern and bright apartment is situated in central Wengen in ‘Residence Eiger' - next to the train station, in the centre of the car-free mountain village , where you and your family will be close to everything.

The apartment has 75 square meters of living space with two good sized bedrooms, a modern open-plan living room and modern kitchen, access to balcony with stunning views of the Lauterbrunnen valley, Jungfraujoch and surrounding mountains. There are two good-sized bedrooms.

Fantastic 2 bedroom apartment in the centre of Wengen with large living space, views over valley from balcony and TV and Internet Access with Wi-Fi (Languages: English, German, French).

Within the building there is a restaurant, lift, storage room for skis (At Molitor Sports), central heating system, washing machine, tumble dryer (for shared use).

Stepped path (10 steps) to the house. Shop, supermarket 50 m, restaurant, bakery 10 m, 1 minute walk to the centre, railway station "Wengen" 20 m, outdoor swimming pool 500 m.

Cable car, skisport facilities 50 m, children's playground 100 m.

• Apartment on 4th floor for peace and quiet and facing the Lauterbrunnen Valley.

• TV Swisscom tv satellite (Languages: English, German, French), Internet and Intercom Access.

• Master bedroom with 2x90cm singles (kingsize bed), bedside tables, large wardrobe, dressing table and sink.

• Second bedroom with two single beds with under-bed storage and window onto balcony.

• 1 bathroom with bath and shower unit.

Please note that Wengen is a car-free mountain village, to reach us you need to park you car at the train station in Lauterbrunnen and then take the 10-minute train up to Wengen, which runs every 30-minutes until 8.30pm and then hourly.

The property was great! The house was very clear, the views were great, it was very spacious and had everything we needed, very close to the train station, so very easy get to. I would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in Wengen! We had an amazing time! Because it was the summer and pretty warm during the day, I would recommend having more than one fan in the property. The rooms got pretty warm during the day. They do have one fan available but I would recommend a few more for comfort since the property doesn't have air conditioning. My kiddo struggled with allergies/hay fever during our visit, so sleeping with the window open aggravated that but trying to sleep with the windows closed was just too warm, so for us it would have been great to have a few more fans. over all... 10 stars though

The location and the view is what sets this place apart from others. The view is incredible and we chose to eat home and enjoy the view rather than go out on a few nights. The location is great too. No hauling luggage along streets. You are literally across the road from the train station. We are light sleepers and there wasn’t much noise from the station even with the windows open. The bathrooms a little tired, but the rest of the apartment has been renovated, although it is showing signs of tiredness. But nothing that bothered us….we spent most of our time on the balcony.Be aware, there is no washing machine in the apartment or in the building. The paperwork in the apartment clearly states this, it’s just a pity that the listing doesn’t. There is a public laundry a short walk away and it’s CHF5 per load in the washer and the dryer. That’s a little inconvenient when you thought you had access to a washing machine in the building, but we coped. I think the listing should be changed though.Overall though the location and the view makes up for everything else.

Nice apartment right by the train station, and surprisingly quiet for being in the middle of it all. The Coop grocery store is also just a short walk from the flat. We were disappointed to discover there was no washer in the building, since it stated such in the listing. Emma was not aware it was in the listing and directed us to a launderette. She sent her cell so we could get in touch with her quickly. The room darkening shades on the sky lights in the main bedroom are wonderful for those early sunny mornings. Like some rentals, they do not supply washcloths in the bathroom- make sure to bring your own. We appreciated the extra electric charger adaptor. Nespresso pods and milk a nice touch!

This place was a perfect location with a beautiful view. So close to the train station and the Coop store. The double bedroom had its own sink, which was helpful when we were all getting ready in the morning. It has simple IKEA furnishings. The lift was perfect for getting to the fourth floor room. I would highly recommend this rental unit.

Absolutely Amazing Location!!!

Where to begin! After a long day of traveling, my family and I were beyond grateful to learn that this property was in fact steps away from the train station. We arrived a little later than expected and were worried about check in, but our host responded to our concerns immediately. The apartment was perfect for our family of 3, but I could imagine a family a 4 staying here very comfortably. We arrived at night and were welcomed with some very thoughtful and much appreciated goodies. The apartment was wonderfully decorated and furnished with everything we could possibly need . We instantly felt at home. In the morning we were absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the view! The town of Wengen was exactly what we were hoping for. If you could dream up the most perfect picturesque mountain village, it would be Wengen. We visited some of the local pubs and restaurants (Crystal Bar was our favorite) and when we needed a few groceries, the Coop grocery store was within a stones throw from the property. We also loved the fact that it was a carless town. I just added to the charm. The gondola ride to Mannlichen was beyond gorgeous, and the train ride to the neighboring town of Lauterbrunnen was absolutely breathtaking. I feel so fortunate that we chose this location for our stay in Switzerland. It was the perfect home base for all of our travels in the Jungfrau Region. All in all, I can't imagine staying anywhere else. I would be thrilled at the opportunity to stay here again in the future.

Exceptional - Heaven on Earth

Wow! Where to even begin… Firstly, communication with Emma could not be better. She was perfect in every aspect of that word: communicative, kind, caring, and an absolute joy to converse with. Now to the location—if I could choose a place to grow old, this would be it. Emma’s apartment was amazing inside and out. The moment we arrived, we were struck by the breathtaking view. Nestled in a setting reminiscent of Rivendell from Lord of the Rings, the scenery is nothing short of magical, with lush greenery and majestic mountains in the distance. The tranquility and beauty of the surroundings made it hard to believe we were just a five-minute journey from the train station to the apartment. Emma’s attention to detail is impeccable. The apartment had all the amenities one could need. It felt as if she had anticipated every possible need a guest might have and provided a solution. The two-bedroom apartment was spacious and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect blend of modern comfort and classic elegance. The living area was cozy, the kitchen well-equipped, and the bedrooms exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Upon our arrival, Emma had left us a delightful welcome gift: a cheeseboard, cheese, cookies, Swiss milk (mmm), and chocolates (even more mmm). It was such a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home. The check-in process was seamless, which was particularly appreciated after our long international journey from the States. Perfection.

Great location. So glad we picked this over Grindewald -- many less tourists makes for relaxing evenings. Quick access via cable car to the Panorama hikes. The view from the outdoor seating area is amazing. Have drinks and playing cards out there after a long day hiking was stunning.
