Meadow Lane Cottage

Welcome to our guest house, located in the heart of Lancaster County and central to all the major attractions It has to offer!
Though we are located on a quiet country road we are only minutes from Route 30 and close to Sight and Sound Theatre, Strasburg Railroad, Dutch Wonderland, American Music Theatre, Rockvale and Tanger Outlets, The Village of Intercourse, Kitchen Kettle Village etc.
The space
Whether you are coming for a family vacation or a weekend getaway you’ll be sure to enjoy our cozy cottage with all the amenities to make your stay relaxing and comfortable! The kitchen is fully stocked where you can easily prepare your own meals! Dining room has table with bench and 4 chairs.
Washer and dryer are available to use.
Our spacious living room makes it easy to kick back and relax!! You’ll also have a dedicated work space if you’re working remotely.
Be sure to enjoy our cozy little sunroom surrounded with windows where it’s peaceful to just sit and enjoy the views!!
There is a half bath on the main floor as well.
On the second floor there is a full bath with a tub/ shower combination. This bathroom was remodeled winter of 2025..Master bedroom with king bed, closet and dresser for storage. Bedroom #2 with queen bed and closet. Bedroom #3 with queen bed, closet and dresser for storage.
Other things to note
This is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The house next door has a few dogs that occasionally bark when they see or hear you outside, but for the most part they are kept inside.

House was immaculate and decorated perfectly as a vacation rental. Plenty of counter space in the kitchen, seating in the dining room and living room, and space for luggage and wall hooks in each bedroom. Quiet neighborhood with a lovely closed-in porch to relax in. We enjoyed our stay!

House was perfect for the 6 of us. Very clean and felt like home. Loved the decor and everything was top notch. Close to everything. Loved how easy it was to check in and out. This was our first Vrbo experience and first time renting a house. And was cheaper than renting a hotel. And loved being all together. We will not be renting hotels any longer unless there is no other choice.

Amazing house. This is our second year renting it for a few days to go to sight and sound, and longwood gardens. There is SO much around, very convenient location. Very clean, definitely feels like a second home for us! Love love love that they provide seasonings, kcups, laundry pods, etc. Makes everything so much easier when you forget something and they have it! Neighbors are nice, he gave us a few recommendations last year and this year too!

Nice clean place. Close to Sight and Sound and the restaurants we enjoy. Easy to get in and around the area. The only issue we experienced was the WiFi/Internet seemed to be a bit sketchy at times but not a deal breaker for us since we found the place perfect to relax and rest. I really loved the Bible scripture in the dining room and the Christian books that were available. I love to support fellow Christian business owners.

Meadow Lane Cottage is a beautiful rental with great amenities. The inside is very clean and beautifully decorated. The outside is well maintained. I had a question before we left and the host responded quickly with an answer.

The house was very clean and well appointed. One recommendation I would make, as someone who used to inspect hotels and am now a person of a certain age, is to add a grab bar in the shower. The neighbor Steve and his dogs stepped out to give us a friendly greeting, making us feel very welcome.
