Guests can enjoy the great outdoors on the large and welcoming front deck or venture into the backyard and relax by the fully stocked pond or even gather round by a fire at the fire pit. The sounds of nature will be music to your ears in the summer months and the fireflies will dance through the night sky. This welcoming oasis is only 15 minutes from Fort Leonard Wood and is the perfect place to stay when traveling to attend your soldiers basic training graduation or visit for family day. Looking to visit the Lake of the Ozarks? No problem! Our home is only a short 45 minute drive away! If kayaking is one of your passions, the Gasconade River is only 12 minutes away. Please return all furniture, indoors and outdoors, back to it's original place before heading out.
Please turn off the upstairs thermostat and set the downstairs thermostat to 58 degrees.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No pets allowed on furniture or left unattended in the home unless they are properly kenneled. I provide 3 XXL kennels 48"L 31"W 30"H
Any irreparable damages caused by pets in the home will incur a fee of no less than $250 expected to be paid upon time of check-out
If the sheet metal doors of the crawl spaces are tampered with/opened, or appear to be tampered with, there will be a $250 fine. They're off limits.

The cabin was beautiful and peaceful. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked. The bedrooms were very roomy and the beds were comfortable. We stayed at the cabin for our family’s spring break and our family very much enjoyed the stay. Feeding the fish at the pond was an absolute highlight. Vanessa was wonderful. She was always very responsive. The check-in and checkout process were very easy.

We had a great stay! We were attending our son’s graduation at Fort Leonard Wood. This was the perfect location since it is close to the base. We were able to relax with our soldier on family day. It was so peaceful and felt like home. The host was great and provided everything we needed. We have stayed at several vacation rentals and this was one of the best experiences.

The pictures of this house do it no justice!!!! It is breathtaking! The inside is super spacious and the all over design is beautiful. There are a lot of little touches you can’t see in the pictures, and if you want to know what they are you’ll need to rent the house.Vanessa was very hands on and answered all of my questions promptly. This house is more than a rental property to her, it’s a place filled with love and warmth. The house has everything, and I mean EVERYTHING you’ll need for your stay other than food and drinks. I’m not sure if my daughter will be stationed at Ft Leonard Wood again but if she is I will definitely be staying here again (if it’s available).10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
