The Indian Camp draw is a peaceful spot nestled in the beautiful pecan trees. Our goal is to provide a place you can call home and love enough to revisit! Enjoy the freshly updated home with your family, friends or co-workers while you visit the surrounding countrysides. Weā€™ve made our pricing easier with cleaning fees included and larger discounts for extended stays.
The space will accommodate up to 4 guests. The master bedroom with a queen sized bed and in the guest bedroom, a full size. A blow-up mattress can be found stored in the closet. In our bathroom you will find a blow dryer and little extras if you happen to forget something important. Plenty of fresh clean towels will be close at hand and extra linens are always accessible if you have a need for more. The kitchen provides an excellent space for big or small meals. You will find everything from a nice cooktop to a 1,000 watt microwave. The pots and pans are provided and the drawers and cabinets are full of useful kitchen gadgets and utensils.
The kitchen island or dining table are excellent spots for visiting or playing board games that you can find in the basket below the TV console. Entertainment is provided thru a Roku or cable tv, and WiFi is ā€œon the houseā€. You are welcome to use what is there or use your own log-in to your favorite apps.
This home is a smoke/vape free place and although we have pets of our own, this home is not set up to be pet friendly. There are walkway outdoor lights to help the dark areas stay lit if you are coming in after dark. Inside the home you will find nightlights that can be turned on and blackout curtains for your privacy. We ourselves have stayed at b-n-bā€™s and have tried to think of all the things that made our own stays special.
Guest access
You will have total access to the home and property outside. A fenced in front yard. We have chairs and a swing on your front porch to sit and enjoy the wildlife that come roam through our pecan trees. There will be plenty of toiletries and basic cleaning supplies like Clorox wipes if you need them under the sink.

We were visiting Colorado Bend State park so the close location was important to us. It's also close to Fiesta Winery; that was very pleasant. If you're planning on eating out there's not much within 20 miles so be prepared to cook some. This property has 2 bedrooms but since there was only 2 of us, we only used one of the bedrooms. The bed was pretty soft in one of the bedrooms and firmer in the other. The appliances and furniture were pretty old but everything worked, including the internet and the AC. The Tv had links to Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc. Cell service was poor at the property so we hooked to the wi-fi to make calls. The property is decorated in a country style with lots of bric-a-brac. It would be a problem with an inquisitive toddler. The host had thoughtfully provided charcoal and lighter fluid, bottled water, and a bag of ice.

Relaxing Country Cabin

Super cute, cozy country cabin. We absolutely loved it! The swing & rocking chairs on the front porch were perfect for watching the cows and deer in the mornings and evenings. The Colorado Bend State Park was right down the road, along with a couple wineries to choose from.

Relaxing place to stay close to Colorado Bend State Park

We chose this place due to its location near Colorado Bend State Park. It was a wonderful place to stay and relax. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the porch and watching the hummingbirds and other wildlife. Check-in was easy and communication with the host was timely and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay!

We loved our get away! Precious house with everything we needed. Super clean with fresh towels and sheets! Sitting on the front porch with our coffee in the mornings while looking out at the pasture was peaceful, quiet and rejuvenating! 10 miles from the park. Host is very nice and accommodating. We will definitely go back!

Quaint and friendly

We booked the cabin due to its proximity to the Colorado Bend State park. It is very close to the park, so very conveniently located. The hostess is amazing! She greeted us shortly after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel very welcome. We were celebrating a special occasion and she went above and beyond to make sure it felt that way. The cabin has all the amenities listed (pots, pans, TV, internet, etc.) and it is calm and quiet.

A quick trip to hike to Gorman Falls! Our cabin was great. I canā€™t think of anything the host didnā€™t think have available. We appreciated all the extra little details. Very clean, comfortable, and quiet.

Girls Weekend Getaway

Came to Goldthwaite and Lometa for a girls weekend to celebrate my birthday. We stayed in Lometa at this adorable cabin on Saturday night. We visited the Fiesta Winery first which is just a short drive down the road. The winery is beautiful and highly recommend. Then we came to this cozy cabin to hang out and relax. The cabin was perfect for our four person party. Loved the front porch and beautiful views. The night sky was amazing with all of the beautiful stars visible. The next morning we got to drink our coffee on the porch with the grazing cows close by. The cabin is in a great location, easy to find and had everything we needed. If we ever get back down to Lometa, hope we can stay again.

Calming

Perfect place to stay after a day at the park. The communication with the property owner was easy as was the checking in and out process. The porch was the perfect ending and beginning to the day. This was the calming getaway i was looking for.

Great cozy cabin near Colorado bend state park

This cabin was wonderful and cozy. It was the closest accommodation to the Colorado Bend State Park. The host was polite and helpful. We really enjoyed the stay and the hiking at the park. Will hopefully return next year.

If youā€™re looking for a peaceful getaway, this is your place. Itā€™s close to Colorado Bend State Park, as well as Lampasas. The cabin is comfy and has a home like feel. The hosts are so kind! We will book here again when traveling to this area.

They have a miniature horse named Chloe, we were allowed to pet her and our kid loved her and won't stop talking about Chloe. The host was always available for us and happy to assist with any need we had. The house was clean, beds were cozy, they've got bovine and guinea hens.

We loved the front porch. Sat out there every morning before sunrise and drank coffee. There are cows surrounding the property. Guinea, hens, squawking, and running. Several deer. Definitely a country cabin experience. We enjoyed our stay.

5 Year Anniversary

Me and my Boyfriend stayed here for our 5 year and went to Colorado Bend State Park every day we were there. The park was easily accessible and easy to get to town as well. The house had everything we needed including a beautiful view to enjoy on the porch swing. It was amazing and we would love to go again.
