Updated efficiency unit attached to the Parlor on Paris - Rent both and save

Huck's Modern Hideaway is a perfect space for a quick to Hannibal, MO! Completely refreshed efficiency suite 5 minutes from The Mighty Mississippi River and beautiful downtown Hannibal, MO. Come and enjoy a convenient space when you are in town for The Mark Twain, Tom Sawyer, Big River Steampunk, or any of the other festivals that might bring you to town.

I am available from 8am through around 9pm 7 days a week. I do my best to respond within minutes. Occasionally, it takes longer.

This home doesn't have a washer and dryer, but there is a laundromat just down the road. It's called 'Wedge Wash' and is only 3 minutes away from home.

This space is completely separated from The Parlor on Paris, (the upstairs listing). To access this home, please follow the sidewalk on the right side of the home. Also note, there is one thermostat for the entire home. We offer the ability to cover the vents and a space heater to help regulate the temperature of your space.

A celebration of life trip.

We enjoyed our time in Hannibal. We were surprised to be able to find a location with Verbo. It was very reasonably priced. It’s a cozy little efficiency apartment. We will be returning to stay there. Communication with the owner was very accommodating.

Cute and Private

We had a good time visiting Hannibal, MO. This place was very cute and private. However, you are able to hear the people upstairs walking, talking and their TV when it was on. Also, the shower was very small. My husband’s 6.3 frame barely fit in the shower.

Perfect for our needs

Stayed here a total of 10 nights (2 reservations) while our daughter was at Hannibal Regional Hospital recovering from complications of a surgery. We rented the upstairs unit first, (Parlor on Paris) also 2 reservations, but switched to Huck's Hideaway when we realized we would be in town several weeks. Since we were taking shifts & staying with her around the clock, it was the perfect place to relax, refuel & rest. Kitchen was very functional with a great gas stove & full size appliances. Shower was perfect and the entire unit is nicely decorated. Our host was responsive and easy to work with as we needed to update our reservations. It was a blessing to have this apartment available. I would recommend either unit, depending on a family's specific circumstances. I would enjoy staying here again and having time to explore the town and enjoy a festival or take the dinner cruise.
