House was clean, comfortable, and felt very secure in a great location within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. Wish we could have stayed there a couple more nights.
We were here for a quick overnight stay on our way to Nebraska. We commented more than once how much we loved the place and how we plan to come back and stay here again so we can explore the area. You won’t be disappointed in this place!
This place is fascinating. It looks small on the outside but is spacious and elegant on the interior. The antique furniture and appropriate decor exceeds all expectations. The Host was very responsive and helpful.
we really enjoyed the step back in time that the historic house offered especially as it has been modernized to have all the amenities of a modern home. and then to have it within walking/short driving distance to many of Hannibal's historic locations was a real plus. we highly recommend to home to enjoy the quaintness and history of Hannibal.
Loved this property! It was like staying in a mini museum, so much care put into the details. Roku TV, comfortable bed, host was responsive when needed. Would stay again!
The property was excellent. The house was clean and well furnished. The neighborhood was quiet and you are with walking distance of several eating establishments. The host was very helpful and easy to get a hold of. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others
I can't say enough wonderful things about this house and the host. My husband and I have traveled a fair amount all over the US. We have stayed at some really cool, unique places. This by far takes the cake as our favorite. The historic property has been lovingly restored by the host and filled with gorgeous antiques. It's like stepping back in time or staying at a museum. The place is absolutely enchanting! We liked it so much that we added another day to our stay. Don't worry there's modern amenities like wifi and TVs. However, we didn't feel the need to use them. The host is very nice and knowledgeable of the history of the home and items in it. He was quick to respond and kind enough to accommodate the additional night on short notice. We fell in love with this home and the town of Hannibal. We are definitely coming back as often as we are able. Highly recommend!
Place is very spacious. The host was very helpful and kind. It was like being in an art gallery with very interesting 2 and 3d work of exceptional character. The furniture was beautiful, well finished. Entry was easy. Walk-able to downtown.

The house was clean and close to the downtown area. The house was nice and updated inside but the furniture needed to be upgraded. I understand the idea of the house being historic but the furniture was uncomfortable to relax on.
This house is incredible! The art is beautiful and so much of the furniture is amazing as well. Great kitchen, well stocked. I really appreciated the ice spheres for my whiskey. Very easy access to downtown and other attractions. We enjoyed walking the block and seeing the other houses being renovated. Really wonderful stay. My only complaint is there wasn't enough info about the house. It's an 1830s house and I'd love to know more about it and the renovations/history. But that's just me being a nerd.
