Wonderful Family Place

This place is great for families. It had a rec room and a pool several different cabins along with a main house fire pit. It was absolutely wonderful.

We love wedding parties! And wedding parties love our place … every couple their own unit … spacious common area to gather/prep/celebrate … bridal party or reunion accommodations for up to 30. It’s always a joy hosting someone’s wedding day!

Family fun

Very roomy, clean and well equipped. The kids absolutely loved the very large game room and pool. .eventhough the water was cold and it was chilly outside.

The Big House

The Big House was spotless and well equipped with everything needed. Erica was great to deal with from the day we booked until we checked out. Highly recommend The Big House and will certainly book again.

Birthday Getaway

This was a fantastic place for a group gathering as it provided a pool, recreational room with an espresso machine, refrigerator, darts and pool table, grill area and plenty of yard space to enjoy around the firepit. The owner, Erica, was there to greet us and was accommodating and very friendly. The big house provided the 7 of us with plenty of room and bathrooms. This location was convenient to the lake and the golf courses. We will definitely rent again the next time we go back to Lake Fork

I'm that kid you sat next to in school that wiggled non-stop and could never sit still. I was the one who shared all my food with the lunch table then left to go sit with the lonely new kid. Voted "Biggest Partier" of my HS class, my affinity for hosting is undeniable. Wherever I've lived, I've hosted - Seattle, Germany, Canada, and all across America. So, when life threw me a curve ball, I suppose it makes sense that I'm rising up to find myself ... hosting for a living. GRIT HAPPENS!

Location, Location, Location! Only 1.5hr drive from DFW and half mile from SRA's Premier 6-Lane Boat Ramp and Rec Area on Lake Fork. Boat, Fish, Play, Walk or Picnic lakeside under Caney Point's 5,000sf Pavilion. Cross the street and explore WC Swearingen Rec Area for Walking Trails, Fishing Piers, Playground, Splash Pad, & Covered Picnic Areas with Grills. Golf nearby at Links at Land's End Golf Club (2mi) or Lake Fork Golf Course (7mi). After a day of fun, fill up on delicious BBQ, burgers, seafood or chicken fried steak any direction you turn! End up back to Lake Fork Getaways to relax Poolside, chill in the Zen Garden, throw Darts, play some Pool or fire up the grills and sample your catch.
Lake Fork offers some of the best bass fishing in the world! Bass, crappie, catfish, panfish, and sunfish swim in abundance. Holding 15 of the top 20 Texas state record titles for biggest largemouth bass, 60% of the heaviest largemouth have been pulled from Lake Forks 27,000 acres of water, including the largest bass ever caught in the state ... a whopping 18.18 lb. largemouth!
