Had a nice quiet getaway with my 2 adult daughters and 1 yr old granddaughter. The place was nice and clean and we had no issues at all. It was only a 30 min drive to Canton to attend the trade days and was worth the drive. Will definitely be back again.

Our host was very cordial and gave us good information before and during our stay. It is a lovely house, well furnished with a beautiful lake view. We would definitely stay there again.

House was basic, but it had everything we needed. It was very clean. Owner texted me the day before with information regarding our stay. He communicated very well. The dock was perfect for lounging on the lake. It has lights for night fishing. The lake was beautiful. We caught giant bass. Highly recommend!! We will be staying again.

Great Family Getaway

The house was clean and well stocked with lots of thoughtful touches. Great location right on Lake Fork, short drive from Alba or Emory. Host very was responsive once he made first contact with us a few days before our stay. (NOTE: questions through VRBO’s “Contact Host” function went unanswered.)All appliances were in working order. Kitchen was adequately stocked with basics for cooking, including the best cookware set I’ve seen in a rental. The bedding and towels were nice, and there were plenty for the number of guests. Large area to sit outdoors under the canopy of trees when the sun is on the deck. Wide path down to the boat dock. Two things missing from the VRBO listing were that the property does have a basic charcoal grill and that the coffee maker is a drip coffee maker. There is no cable, dish or internet but cell service was adequate. Host has an antenna hooked up for TV which was fine for our needs.

Nice neighborhood

Nice home in a nice neighborhood. Close to restairants. Fishing dock was great. We caught fish. We had a really nice time and would go back!!

Nice house on the lake

We enjoyed this house alot. Close and convenient to launch the boat. Listing said no cell service but we all had cell cervice with us cellular, verizon, and AT&T. We would definitely stay here again if we make the trip back down again.

fishing and vacation trip

Had a very enjoyable stay, weather put hamper on fishing some but pulled a 7.5 and few other big ones out. Lake Fork has big bass. House was nice just a few bumps, one only 3 chairs at kitchen table, 4 in our party and had to bring one of the plastic chairs in, we played games since weather was hammering fishing some. Also had to stagger showers because hot water ran short after two quick showers and wasn't that hot. No wifi but got good phone reception. beautiful view and nice pier. Couldn't get water pump at pier sink to work so couldn't clean fish there. but did hang a good bass off walkway and few cats on pier, but no crappie. Only drip coffee pot. Hill going to pier so be prepared for that. These few items were not deal breaker and we had a great time. I would stay there again.

quick Weekend

Very nice, matched right up with listing. Hot but did some fishing not catching. But all good, was more of a get away. Didn't really expect much on the catching as I have been on Fork a lot, used to have a camp here. Would definitely rent again.
