The living space was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom areas provided everything we needed for our stay.I enjoyed morning walks through the neighborhood, and highly recommend The Big Biscuit for breakfast.
The unit was clean & comfortable. The entry and exit into the building and unit was easy and parking was very close. The location is 2 blocks away from downtown Mission and conveniently close to many other KC-area towns. Access to the interstates is also easy. My wife and I enjoyed are stay.
Apartment was exactly as described and pictured, and I love that Angie says to “snoop around” for items for use because I always feel so awkward “snooping around” for kitchen items, linens, etc. in any rental! We have now stayed at this property and another of Angie’s that is in this building and it is within walking distance to restaurants, bars, convenience stores, etc. Urban Prairie coffee shop 700 feet away is a must for breakfast and a latte, and Sandhills Brewing next door to that has great beer. We will definitely be staying in Angie’s properties again.
It was a pleasant stay. Would stay there again. Washer and dryer are not in unit and it probably says that in the description but I missed it. A good place, I do recommend it.
The check in process was very easy. The location was great for where we needed to be in the morning. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was not what we would have hoped for and did not sleep well. The linens, however, were heavenly. The bathroom was roomy and wonderful as well!
Pros: Clean, Good water pressure, Hot water never ran out. I controlled heat.Cons: Other tenants leave front door unlocked, Kind of cheap feeling, Kitchen poorly stocked compared to other VRBO. Bed, dead tired, no problem.Overall: As long as the price stays reasonable to low, I would consider this location again. Otherwise not. Overall Rating based on value determined by price.
This property is great - quiet neighborhood. just the right size when I’m traveling for business. Stocked with kitchen accessories so i can avoid eating out as often. I always come back here.
The small apartment was a great place. I worked remotely while my daughter did some job shadowing in the area. There were running trails, restaurants and bars all within walking distance. It was easy to get around.
Stayed 4 nights. Property owner communication was quick. Everything was clean and tastefully decorated. Quiet. Good parking. Convenient to lots of shopping and restaurants
Loved it!!!!@
My mother and I stayed here because my sister was having surgery. The home was absolutely beautiful. We felt comfortable as if we were in our own home and traveled with ease. The communication was over the top and she was extremely helpful
Everything was very nice. We did disconnect the air fresheners, just too much for us. It was a nice neighborhood and easy walk to some eating and shopping.
I needed a place to stay in KC near family and this property was perfect! The unit was spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet, just as described on the VRBO site. The neighborhood grocery carrying natural foods was a very short 2-3 minute drive away. The kitchen was well appointed and fully met my needs. Host Angie was quickly responsive when I had one question about something in the unit. It was a very comfortable, restful stay! I will definitely look for this listing next time I'm in KC!
This was the perfect place for my wife and I while attending a wedding in Mission. The apartment is decorated nicely and has plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, seating, hot water for showers and a comfortable bed. The coded locks at the entrance to the building and to the apartment were easy to use.
Johnson Ave ( one block from the unit) had a great variety of places to eat and drink. We walked around after dark several nights while staying and felt safe. Sand Hills Brewing (1 block walk) offers some good beer or if you are into cocktails The Primrose is right next door. Fluffy Fresh Donuts well worth getting up early and making the 8 minute trek. Get there early! They sell out fast. The Mission Theater is where the wedding reception was held and is only a 10 -15 walk.
Johnson Ave has access to major thoroughfares no mater which way you go. Easy to get around.
While we were there we visited these places of interest. WWI museum. Currently has a really good exhibit on the evolution of prosthetics. Union Station. Across the street from the WWI Museum. Great breakfast at a beautiful building. The Nelson-Atkins Museum of art. I’m not an art guy but this was a fantastic collection and a beautiful building. The Arabia Steamboat Museum. Recovered cargo from a steamboat that sank in 1856 and was dug up in 1988. This was really interesting and is right next door to an open market with some great vendors and good food. I highly recommend Mellow in Mission.
