The home is located on a quiet residential street in Clarksville. It’s very roomy and just as described in the listing. We took advantage of the large front porch while we were there. It’s a quick drive across the bridge to Louisville. The nearby town of Jeffersonville was a nice surprise with charming shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Thank you so much for the wonderful 5-star review, Elaine! We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay at Bourbon & Derby and appreciated the quiet neighborhood, spacious accommodations, and relaxing front porch. One of the things we love most about our location is being just minutes from Downtown Louisville while also offering easy access to the charming shops and restaurants in Jeffersonville. We're glad you had the opportunity to explore both sides of the river! We truly appreciate you choosing EZ Stay Properties and taking the time to share your experience. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we'd love to welcome you back whenever your travels bring you to the Louisville area. Safe travels, and thanks again!

We sent Christopher a text in the am to let him know we would be in town earlier than check in. He informed us as soon as we were in town we were welcome to enter before 4:00 , we appreciated this gesture. Although the property is cute and as listed. It just needs a little attention. It has a great bed and shower. The kitchen is adorable, but the only thing we used was the keurig. The sofas are uncomfortable and could use updated. The biggest drawback was the musty smell. The space has an automatic air freshener, but would be better if there was an air purifier. It was a great place to get to Churchville downs, we golfed in the area and ate in Clarksville at Neil and Pattys fireside grill.Overall good experience.

Great place to stay near Louisville

This was the perfect place for us to stay over Derby weekend. The unit was very clean, looked exactly like the pictures (very nice bathroom and kitchen!), and is a short drive over the bridge to get into downtown Louisville. Christopher was excellent to work with and made the check-in process very easy. I will look up this place or his other properties if I am in the area again!

Nice property, great location

Great place for a couple. Ad says it sleeps six but there is only one bathroom off the bedroom so people sleeping in the living room have to ho through the bedroom to get to the bathroom or the kitchen. There was no bedding for the hideabeds in the living room and we only got 4 towels for 3 people staying 4 nights. One had to be used as a bath mat so we each got one towel for the entire stay. There is laundry facility but we don’t spend vacation time doing laundry so toughen it out with the wet towels.

Not Private

Vrbo or the property owner was not honest about the property being private the maintenance man stayed upstairs over us I have severe allergies the property was extremely stuffy and the windows didn’t open We checked out a day early to get a hotel room our only night there was Friday It would be nice to receive a refund or some kind of compensation for our troubles It didn’t ruin our trip but it definitely turned our stomach upside down

Thank you, Toni, for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. To clarify for future guests, the listing accurately states that the Speakeasy unit is part of a small multi-unit building, with three private apartments on the first floor and one additional apartment above. There is no shared living space inside each unit — each guest enjoys a fully private apartment with a private entrance. During your stay, we had a maintenance professional present in the building briefly to complete scheduled work upstairs, but he did not enter or access your unit at any time. Regarding the windows: for guest safety and security, some windows are fixed. However, the unit is fully climate-controlled with central air conditioning and heating. We truly regret if the environment was uncomfortable for your allergies. Guest comfort is very important to us, and we encourage all guests to reach out during their stay if anything needs attention — we are always happy to help. Thank you again for your stay and for providing feedback that allows us to improve.
