Family visit

The communication with the owner went well. The proximity to the University of New Haven was perfect. We were there to attend weekend softball games. There was ample room for the 4 of us. It was a bit confusing as we were charged for an extra person even though the listing said accommodated 6 people. I reached out to the host, however, his explanation

While the listing does state that the property accommodates up to 6 guests, the base rate typically covers a certain number of guests, and additional guests may incur an extra charge. This is a common practice across most VRBO listings and helps cover the added expenses associated with higher occupancy. That said, this was the first time we've encountered this type of misunderstanding, and I truly appreciate you bringing it to my attention.
