This cabin was more than we hoped for. We took full advantage of the hot tub, fire pit, canoes and everything else. Our whole crew just loved it.This cabin is very remote and secluded—-about 35 minutes from the closest gricery store/hospital/walmart. But that’s what we were looking for. Thank you again.

GRANDMAS MARATHON

We loved the location of this cabin to the marathon festivities for the weekend. Although I don't want to give away it's secret. It's pretty here and it has got tub for the runner if you like hot tubs.We didn't use it because the weekend was too warm to enjoy it. The cabin is comfy, clean and very accommodating.

Quiet and Peaceful - but so much to do!

We took a girls trip to this cabin with intentions of spending time in Duluth. Instead we found ourselves at the perfect getaway - just far enough from the city to feel secluded but close enough to hit the major sites easily. The property was gorgeous and the hosts were kind and clear with expectations.We loved utilizing the canoes to explore the almost private lake and look for the neighborhood beaver that we affectionately named Bernard. There were games and blankets and all of the rooms were comfy!Would like to note the cabin is authentic- so privacy is limited as any conversations can be heard anywhere in the cabin. (Main floor and upper at least)Couldn’t reccomend enough. We loved it.

Stayed in superior area for several days. Accomodations were fantastic. Was happy to find a high chair and pack-n-play. Cabin was clean and kept up. Canoes to take the kids out on the lake was fun. Fire pit to cook over a fire a couple nights. Was not far to a beach and the water falls at the state park were nice. About 20 minutes to Duluth/Superior. When we are in the area we will definitely look up to see if this cabin is available. Family loved it

Northwoods Lodge

This was a really nice property to stay at although it was a bit out in the woods. If you are looking for seclusion this is it. The pictures of the property don't lie. It was easy enough to get to Duluth for a couple of the days we stayed. The cabin does not have the greatest lighting and if you get hot easily, I would recommend you bring a fan. We would stay at this property again.
