My daughter and I loved this cozy place. Very beautifully remodeled. They thought of having may things available for the stay. Such as little welcoming snacks, coffee, bags, condiments, baking dishes in addition to all the basics ( plates etc). Amazing mattresses especially for someone who has back problems like me. The host was very helpful in answering my questions. I love the spacious kitchen and living area. Would definitely recommend it and will sure be back.

My husband and I had a wonderful trip, the home exceeded our expectations in every way! Joel was a great Superhost. The customer service and information that was pertinent prior to our arrival was extremely helpful. Very quiet and tranquil where the home is located. The property is on a nice area and has beautiful views from the front and back, but was near train tracks and off of a main road so at times you could hear the train and vehicles at night. Overall it was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The problem was that I was wheezing and smelled mildew everywhere. I never could find the source of it, though it was likely the basement? As soon as we got home we had to disinfect our luggage and wash all our clothes because everything smelled so strongly of mildew or mold. Since we weren't staying long at the property I thought I could deal with it and my husband didn't seem to think it was that strong, but my air cleaner at home registered high for formaldehyde when I put our clothes next to it before being washed. Perhaps I'm just sensitive, but if you are as well than just know that going into it.

We stayed at Bluff View while we were in town for a friend’s bridal shower. The home was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed! The owners were very friendly and we enjoyed visiting with them! Would definitely stay again in anything brings us back to town!

Met my sister and stayed here for the weekend. I haven't seen her since our parents died 10 years ago. It was great to sit down and comfortably relax and just talk. Picked up some food both nights that were only about 7 minutes away. Great stay. Loved the house. It just worked perfectly for us.

Perfect little house

Joel's home is so beautiful. The location was perfect for our girls weekend to Kimmswik, MO (just 20 minutes away). The house is clean and has everything we needed. Beds were SUPER comfy, bathroom is gorgeous and the kitchen/living space had everything we were looking for. We would definitely stay again!

Great spot!

My wife and I just got away for a weekend and we stayed at Joel’s place. It was cozy and secluded enough and convenient to St. Louis. The house was great and well stocked with anything you might need and Columbia and surrounding towns were all very quaint and friendly. We will definitely be back.
