WELCOME TO FAULKNER'S LANDING
This lakefront home sits atop a beautiful bluff in Horse Creek Cove, with soaring trees and a million-dollar view. Enjoy the privacy this 1.3-acre home gives you while enjoying easy access to your private dock (with boat lift), three sea doo slips as well as a swim dock. This home has a 150 feet of lake front with views from almost every room.
This pristine cove on Grand Lake is large enough and deep enough for all your boating activities (sea dooing, boating, skiing, tubing) yet secluded enough that it feels like your own private oasis. The water is average 20 feet deep off dock so fishing is great. A full-service marina is within a 5 minute boat ride where you can rent boats as well.
The home has an open concept for the kitchen, living and dining so the cooks don't feel left out. The living room is large and able to accommodate many people with two sofas, two club chairs and ottoman and 47 inch LCD flat screen television with bose surround sound.
All three bedrooms have pillow top queen beds and one of the sofas pulls out to a queen as well. All bedrooms have 32 in LCD flat screen televisions with blue ray dvd players. We also have two twin air matresses (good for children only). Maximum 12 people.
The front of the home is tree lined with a park like setting. The back of the house faces the lake. There is a deck that is over 80 feet long. Half the deck is covered and the other half is perfect for sunning. It has a table and chairs that sits 6, a fire pit that sits 8 and two lounge chairs that all have amazing lake front views. Off to the side of the deck is a picnic table for extra dining seating.
The dock has a covered boat slip with boat lift that is 20 feet long. No boats over 22 feet are allowed to tie to dock. As well as no pontoon, tripoon or sail boats are allowed to tie to dock.
Conveniently located 50 minutes from Tulsa and 45 minutes from Joplin. It is a 15 minutes to Grove which has many restaurants, antique shops, boating stores, super walmart as well as many activities and festivals during the year.
Please take time to review our 'location' map as we have mapped out for you many activities, restaurants, marinas, shopping, boat launch and helpful information to utilize during your stay.

About Kimberly Faulkner
We want your stay to be as comfortable and easy as possible. We don't want you to have to spend hours of research trying to figure out where to go eat, shop, rent boats or any other activities you wish to do. So we have done it for you. We mapped out and described over 55 sites including addresses, hours of operation and phone numbers. Everything listed is 15 miles or less with the exception of 7 which are all less than 20 miles. With the vast majority of them being less than 10 miles. There are activities listed most people don't even know about. Please take time to review our map. If you look under the Dollar Store icon there is 'view guide' in blue. Click on this and you will see all 55 items on the location map along with full descriptions. Although these are far from the only things to do at Grand Lake, they are some of our favorites.
Kimberly Faulkner purchased this House in 2005
Why Kimberly Faulkner chose Afton
This home is located on the shores of beautiful Grand Lake O'the Cherokees, situated in the foothills of the Ozarks. This area is blessed with natural beauty. As soon as I walk in the front door all my stresses are forgotten and a feeling of peace takes hold of me.
What makes this House unique

Great house! Great location!
Our family had a fantastic relaxing trip to Faulkner's Landing. The lake view is beautiful. The cove is very peaceful and remote but not far from restaurants, marinas and stores. The weather was too cool for water activities and fishing but we had an awesome time playing games, listening to nature and sipping wine by the fire pit. The 72 steep steps to the dock was a great workout for people "in shape" but if we had docked a boat we would of had to pick my 78 yr. old parents up at the marina!! Too steep for them. The house was very clean and well stocked. The owner is extremely easy to work with and very responsive.
Loved this house, loved the location!
We really enjoyed our visit to Faulkner’s Landing. The view of the water off the deck was beautiful. The house had everything we needed, and we loved the privacy of the location. We will definitely be back!!
Had a very relaxing stay. Hope to do it again sometime.
The house was comfortable & we loved the lake access. Even enjoyed the 72 steps...great exercise!!
Great family reunion location!
We brought our kids and grandkids for a long weekend, 12 of us in all. The layout was perfect for our family. There was a glitch with the DISH TV but the owner was responsive and hey, we didn't come to the lake to watch TV anyways. The folks at Sail Grand were great with our boat rentals for the weekend.
The house is very nice, fit our group comfortably. It's in a great location on the lake. The stairs to the dock are very steep, and wore out some very in-shape people. The turn into the property is EXTREMELY tight if you have a boat trailer hooked up, I suggest launching first and leaving the trailer somewhere else. Other than that, it was a great stay, would do it again.
Good family vacation
Very private. Very comfortable. Nice property manager to work with. Interior of house is very nice and comfortable. Everything worked as it should. Beautiful view of lake. As state in description the stairs going to the private boat house and swimming dock are quite steep and long. Not for people with physical limitations. Not for small children unattended. Very large property with lots of room. No easy way to get our kayaks to the water and back up the stairs. we slid them down the stairs and then we located a property owner that was nice enough to let us take them out across his yard to the south of us around the bend. We had a good time with no problems. I would stay again. I just might not bother with the kayaks.
