Great stay in Maui

We really enjoyed our stay and the view to the ocean was stunning to wake up to every day. It was 70-78 and it could get warm. There isn’t AC but with the fans blow wind through the place, it was okay!

Great condo!

Loved our stay! Amazing views and nice lay out. Was worried about not having AC after reading other reviews but that was no issue. Lots of fans and can sleep with windows and slider open. Kahana Villiage is a great complex with pool, bbq and beautiful views. Would definitely stay again!!

For the price, it was awesome. Beautiful view. The only thing we were surprised at was it did not have AC only fans, and for the most part we didn't need AC. I would definitely stay there again.

Unit 40 is a highly sought after and newly updated 2 bedroom/2 bathroom Oceanfront condo, overlooking the tropical resort property with stunning views. Located on the second floor, this unit has amazing ocean breezes and great air flow. We do not advertise that this unit has air conditioning. For guests that are used to having AC it takes a little adjustments but the ocean breeze is wonderful and air conditioning is not really needed. Maui girls trip

The place was exactly what the pictures showed. There was no AC but plenty of fans to get a breeze going. Beach access was a few steps a way which made it convenient and parking was always nearby.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved this place! Everything was so beautifui inside, lots of upgrades. This place had everything you needed, the kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of sleeping space and it’s rare to find a place with 2 bathrooms, which this place had. It felt so comfortable inside, we wanted to move in :) great location and easy to get to a lot of places. Also, their communication was great, Dayna was seriously so very helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend this place and we for sure will be back in the furtive. #mauistrong 💗🙏🏼

Unit is clean and full of supplies that we might expect to use during a week trip. However no AC inside except for ceiling fans and portable fans. It gets pretty warm and a bit uncomfortable at times even at night. Had to leave patio door open and all windows open and all fans on full blast to help with air movement. Entry code didn’t work when we arrived but was able to get a hold of someone via emergency line after 20 minutes

Property Good and Clean. No AC

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It is very hot and warm unless we leave all windows open with patio doors open all day and night. We had to use the ceiling fans and the extra provided fans to move air. Provided entry code didnt work, and had to call someone. It took 20 mins for someone to call back but she was able to assist and reset the code remotely.

We apologize that you assumed there was AC in this ocean front condo. There is fantastic cross breezes that blow in from the ocean and when the doors and windows are open, the condo is very cool and comfortable. There are also ceiling fans and floor fans provided. Check-in time is 4pm, the door code we provide actives at 4:0pm. We responded to your immediately and was able to rectify the problem in a timely manner. Our team strives to provide all the home away from home feels and Aloha Spirit to enhance our guests Maui vacation. It was our pleasure to host you. Mahalo

It Was Almost Perfect

We enjoyed this condo so much. It’s beautiful and roomy, with everything you need, even a few groceries in the pantry. It has a beautiful view of the ocean with the island of Molokai in the distance. The sunsets are breathtaking. Check-in would have been so much easier if the # sign had been added to the keypad code. It took us a while to figure that out. Also, the condo does get warm on June afternoons. Why not make the investment to add two or three split a/c units to make it absolutely perfect? We were grateful for all the fans! Also adding a note that the office is for the guests of another owner in the same complex would have helped. The grounds are beautiful as well. Wish we could have stayed longer. Mahalo!

This unit is privately owned and we do include this information in the arrival correspondence that we send to our guests prior to their arrival. Guests do not need to hit the # symbol when entering in the access code unless specified. A new code was issued for your stay since the original code was entered incorrectly too many times. Lovely location

Super lovely location with a view of the ocean. The sound of the waves and the view from the condo with a short walk was awesome. Staying in these smaller condos is far superior than the large resorts in my opinion and this location has a great stretch of sandy and rocky beach. The grounds are well taken care of— great pool, awesome rinse off station from coming from the beach and overall a nice place. The condo itself is updated nicely! I love the open kitchen to allow food prep and the kitchen and bathrooms are stocked well. The cooler, 3 beach chairs and umbrella were great. The beds are semi comfortable, though a lot of the pillows are very large and full, not great for stomach sleepers. Also, keep in mind that right now they are doing construction on the road really close to the condo and they start early (7:30-8am) during weekdays. It didn’t bother us too much since we were up early, but if you plan to sleep in it is very loud. Also 2 of the porch chairs were broken so we couldn’t eat as a group outside together. Lastly, hardest part was the temperature. Not having AC made it uncomfortable a lot of the time. There are a lot of fans, but we were constantly trying to manage temperature by having windows open at night as well as windows closed with blinds drawn during the day, while having fans running at all times. If the condo had AC we would return here in a heartbeat. The owners are kind, the location is prime and the space is well thought out and beautiful.

Aloha Brooke, We appreciate you taking the time to leave this detailed review and feedback. This condo is not advertised to have AC, but there is amazing ocean breezes that keep the condo cool. Opening the doors and window allow the cross breeze to come through, but we understand that it is a big adjustment for guests that are used to having AC. Bed and pillow firmness are a preference and we are sorry to hear that we did not provide a level of comfort for you during your stay. The County of Maui bridge work is on going and we do advise our guests of this project. We are happy to know that you enjoyed your time with us otherwise and enjoyed all the home away from home feels we provide to enhance our guests Maui vacation.
