Come join us for a fantastic stay in a well-appointed 3-bedroom 1 bath UPPER-LEVEL DUPLEX located just 4 minutes from Mayo Clinic? This unit is recently remodeled, beautifully furnished and very convenient.

You will find everything you might need to recover from a surgery or to feel at home while seeking treatment.

The house is child friendly with a nice selection of toys and books to keep the little ones occupied. Pack-n-Play and highchair are available.

Dogs are welcome with a charge of $50/dog.

High speed internet is included and one of the bedrooms contains a dedicated workspace.

The unit includes access to a SHARED LAUNDRY which is down one flight of stairs in the lower-level of the building. Laundry products are available.

There is plenty of on and off-street parking.

Host was excellent with quick communication! Appreciated all of the little details in the house such as USB charging ports and additional outlets next to the beds, kitchen well stocked, and the beds were comfortable!! Host had additional books, toys, and other stuff for children which was a bonus! Only two negatives was the house did smell of stale cigarette smoke which was a disappointment and paying for the dryer. Listing mentioned quarters were included; however, we were there with a family of 5 and had to do several loads of laundry. And there was only 4 quarters for one load of laundry. Quiet neighborhood and close to Mayo Clinic!

Clean, great communication, pics looked way betrer than real life.

Overall a good stay. The property was clean and mostly updated, but the home was very old. The foundation was slanted so much that items would roll off the table quickly and you could feel the slant when walking through the house.

Great Rochester getaway

Nice quiet working class neighborhood. Walked my dog several times a day without concern. Downstairs renters very friendly. Comfortable beds. Toys for children. Spacious. Not far from Mayo. Wooded area behind house. Deer walk around. You’re in town but also feels like you’re in country.

The listing does not indicate that it is a shared space of a washer and dryer with people who live in the basement. Also, it never stated that people would be living below us. I found out that information upon the welcome message from the host. When I brought it up to the host, they were rude and would not cancel our reservation. Upon arrival to the house, it smelled of cigarette smoke and it was clear that the house was in rough shape. Highly DO NOT recommend and would avoid.

Very nice set up with sweet touches

We celebrated our family “Thanksmas” with my daughter’s uncle and his family here. It was a very quick trip but the layout of the house with the three bedrooms, generous kitchen and dining table were perfect for our needs. The 2-year old especially was enamored with the numerous toys provided and the older girls were able to do lots of crafts and games at the dining table. As the oldest adult, I appreciated the comfort of the bed and how clean and organized the entire place was. The little chocolates were a nice touch as well. The house was easy to find and the host provided detailed and easy to follow directions on where to park and how to get in. The location was great for the other activities we did while there. I am looking forward to making this an annual event and would definitely choose this VRBO again.

A True Sanctuary

This property was everything my husband, our Frenchies, and I needed during our testing at the Mayo Clinic. The house was clean, quiet, comfortable, and cozy. It truly felt like a safe haven after a long day of testing and worrying. It had all the every day living amenities and there wasn’t any noise transfer with the downstairs family. The John and Linda are very responsive and proactive in ensuring guest comfort. They have created a peaceful place for people/families experiencing and worrying about medical issues. We would recommend John and Linda’s house to any friends and family traveling to Rochester, whether it’s for a Mayo visit or otherwise. 10/10.

Absolutely fabulous stay

I and 3 other Veterans stayed at this location for our annual CVMA National meeting. I can say the accommodations were better than what I was expecting. The host John was very responsive to any questions that I had and very friendly. I got to talk with him in person. Two things I will mention is 1) There is an elderly couple in their 70's that lives downstairs, but they are very nice and several our my friends actually went downstairs to visit and spend some time with them. Charlie and Deb are hilarious couple. He calls her the Warden LMAO. 2) There is a parking space that has a sign "No Parking" there, please be respectful and do NOT park there. They have groceries delivered to them and that is their designated spot. I highly recommend reserving this location to everyone.

Upper level duplex

The home was well finished, organized and clean. Home came with everything we needed for a 16month old and two older kids. Unfortunately it had an overpowering frangrent dryer sheet smell to it with under-hints of cigarette smoke mostly from downstairs tenants. Putting our baby to bed in back bedroom was challenging and frustrating, the furnace vents when kicked on smelt of cigarette smoke and at times weed. The tenants went outside every 15 minutes to smoke until 2am. This created a series of the neighbors dog to bark, their flood light to come on (facing bedroom window) and draft of smell. Though tenants were quiet they ran the dryer past 10pm with only a pocket door with tiny lock separating them from upper floor, safety felt questionable. First Vrbo experience and won’t be staying there again. Owner was nice to text info but missed the one small phrase of “upper level duplex” in description when it was mostly a single family home photos and they made the basement rentable.

The house stunk of cigarette smoke and Marijuana when we arrived. It was not clean, and the host has been incredibly rude. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place.

It was dark when we arrived and the porch light wasn’t on so we couldn’t see to get in house. The house had a distant, unpleasant smell to it. The kitchen was not clean…particularly the cupboards. I had to wash a pot and silverware before using as they had food in them.
