Perfect for porch sitting, evening fire pit conversation beside a running stream.. Any kind of eatery & shopping is available just blocks away and only 25 minutes to Nashville's Honky Tonk Highway and music venues like the Grand Ole Opry, Blubird Cafe, Hiking, biking, swimming and boating, close by.

Fantastic Franklin Cottage

Charming cottage within easy walk of downtown. Great location but nice and quiet, too. Everything we wanted and needed for our 4-night stay.

Cute little cottage!

Cute cottage in a historical neighborhood. It is within walking distance to town and a park. Everything you need to make your stay homey is there and the backyard is fabulous!

Kelso Cottage Dream

The Kelso Cottage was everything we dreamed it would be with lots of amenities, well stocked pantry, magical backyard, nicely appointed, convenient to historic Franklin, and the best Host ever.

Enjoyable stay

The cottage was clean and homey and inviting. We loved how close to town it was. Everything we could possibly need was provided. We didn’t take advantage of the fire pit as the evenings were very warm. We’d book again.

Adorable cottage & lovely stay!

We were looking for a few days of relaxing during a longer trip to Nashville and this was perfect. Adorable cottage decorated so well. Loved lounging by the fire pit in the backyard or in the chairs on the front patio. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. We had a few issues during our stay but the owners responded quickly. Should be a new bathroom reno which will be awesome for future guests!

Superb stay at Kelso Cottage!

Great location, house was cozy and comfortable inside and out. Well furnished. Really liked having the tv room separate from the living room and bedrooms. 3 blocks to downtown Franklin and road to Liepers Fork just around the corner made for ease of doing things. We’ll be back!

Wonderful cottage—cozy and convenient.

We loved the cottage. Location was so convenient. The backyard and fire pit with the outdoor lights was amazing. The beds were so comfortable. We will be returning to this gem. The host was welcoming and prompt with responses. Thank you.

Franklin visit with Friends

Cozy mid-century vibe. Very comfortable. Our small dog enjoyed the yard and walking in the neighborhood. Kitchen well stocked, new appliances and everything worked properly. Off-street parking for one vehicle in the driveway. Outdoor fire pit with seating. Pleasant walk through historic neighborhood to downtown shopping in Franklin. Short ride to Nashville. Good communications with owner. We visited with friends that have their home in Franklin.

Visiting Franklin & Nashville

We couldn't have been more comfortable and safe. The house is adorable and clean. The location is supberb and you can walk out the front door and wander full of history rich streets lined with beautiful historic homes. Town is only a short walk and very doable. The beds were super comfy and the house is more than well-stocked should you want to make your own meals. The back yard is nice and made it very easy to travel with our dog. The hosts were super responsive, helpful, kind and generous. Our overall experience was five star. If you are thinking about renting this home- do it. You will be glad you did.

Great location, a true hidden gem!

This cottage definitely lives up to it’s description. It’s charming, conveniently located both in Franklin and also to Nashville. It’s definitely a hidden gem. The hosts are great as well! We highly recommend it!

Lovely weekend

We spent the weekend here with our two year old. It was a quick walk to town in a beautiful neighborhood. We had dinner in downtown Nashville and it was an easy uber ride as well.

Lovely space, perfect location

A friend and I met in Franklin for a weekend of hiking and hanging out. We had a great stay! Christa was a wonderful host. The house is so cute and really comfortable. The location was perfect, too. Would recommend!

Quaint and cozy

The neighborhood was beautiful, the house was cozy and clean. The backyard could have used some nicer patio furniture, fire pit and lights. Wonderful location within walking distance of everything we wanted to do.

Perfect location

This place couldn’t have been more continently located! A great quiet street but still so close to the center of town! The property manager couldn’t have been better! She was easy so work with and quick to return messages! Cute house, great stay!

Quick Responsive Hosts

A charming house centrally located near Franklin. Large spatial backyard We had a few issues although the Hosts were quick to reply and took care of our concerns.
