The house is beautiful and comfortable. It was perfect for what I needed and so convenient. The owners responses to messages were very fast and helpful. Highly recommended.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Clean but not set up for a family.
So to start out the house was great but there was not enough towels for a family of four. The air was locked so you couldn’t keep it comfortable, the beds are harder than a rock plus the fact the host can come and go while your there is a little unsettling. Mary was nice but we will not stay here again.

Hi Steven,
Thanks for staying at my property. I did mention to you and I am sure it was listed in the property description that I stay in one of the rooms when I’m in town. Throughout the duration of your stay I was in the house for about 5 minutes before you left and I didn’t come in at will like you described. I sent you a message when you checked in that I will be there Monday morning. I also generally do not provide towels but because I was not around, I thought to buy one for you guys just in case you didn’t pack one and you are not stranded in a new place. I have a smart thermostat and it’s programmable, if you had communicated to me, that could have been an easy fix. I am sorry the beds are not as soft as you would like but they are medium firm.
This home is in a newer neighborhood so construction in progress to other homes on street. No street lights and when we checked in at 9pm, there were no lights on in or outside of house so a little challenging to get in house and find light switches. We just used our iPhone flashlight but would have been nice to have some lights on outside and inside for a nighttime arrival. You will also park on the street.
I knew the homeowner said she would be there but you don’t actually know when she is coming/going which is a little unnerving - might be good to be told when she will arrive or depart so you aren’t scared hearing the garage door or front door opening at night. I always let her know when we were on our way at night.
I did indicate that there would be two of us but only one towel was set out - I did ask for another towel but it was never delivered. Maybe bring your own towels if you are going to stay here.
The house is gorgeous inside. The beds were comfortable and nice to have Wi-Fi available to work or watch movies on a laptop. We did not use the TV in the house or the kitchen. For awareness, there is a security camera on the mantle inside the house which looks like it points to the entry door from the garage.
The bedding is lightweight so if you get cold at night, bring warm pajamas or a blanket. We were comfortable because it was in the 90s during the day and high 70s at night but during colder/winter weather.
Overall nice place.
