Chris and Dottie were wonderful hosts with a very nice rental property. The home is quite spacious with several sitting areas and a lovely sunroom to have coffee or tea in the morning. The kitchen is also nice and large if you’re cooking food for a decent sized group (we were had a group of 6 adults). It is located very close to the Carolina Renaissance fair and is just up the street from shopping centers with a grocery store. The owners were very fast to respond if we had any questions. We would definitely stay here again if we come back through.

Hurricane stay

We stayed here while hurricane Helene came through. The home was beautiful and the beds were comfy! The host was always responsive, the only thing is there was no book to tell you where things are or if there were any rules. Would definitely stay again.

Spacious and great location

We enjoyed the spacious room for our family of 5 adults. The home had family friendly entertainment throughout as well as an outdoor area with a firepit , and deck with ample seating. The yard is also fenced. The neighborhood was quiet and close to malls and other entertainment options. I only suggest a few more utensils in the kitchen although there are many places to dine and delivery in the area. Otherwise, a great stay.

Beautiful house, peaceful neighborhood

Spacious, well-equipped house in a safe and quiet neighborhood! Kitchen is very well stocked with cookware and everything you might need to prepare your own meals. There are 2 separate living areas (one on each floor), which was great. Neighborhood is great for taking walks in the evenings, felt very safe. Close to lots of restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend!

Hidden Gem

This house was the perfect location for our family visit to the Charlotte area. It was centrally located between the city of Charlotte to the south and Lake Norman to the north, which is where we spent our time. The house was in a beautiful development with a community pool in walking distance with plenty of lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas. The house was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated and the host was easily reachable if any issues arose. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful spacious house, conveniently located in a safe & quiet neighborhood, a perfect stay for families.Stayed with my family (of four) for a month. Plenty of space for everyone. Kitchen was fully stocked, lots of games for our little ones. The best part was the serene private backyard, well fenced with high hedges for privacy with a fire pit conveniently stocked with plenty of firewood. We enjoyed dinner over camp-fire most weekends.Host (Chris) was great at communicating and maintained the premises well. Chris promptly arranged any needs we had including supplies, garbage pickup etc. We’d love to visit again!

Beautiful home with thoughtful amenities

I don't think the listing did this property justice. It was larger than i expected. There was plenty of room for 2 couples and our adult children to enjoy each other's company without being on top of each other. The owner thought of everything that guests would need. Unfortunately, i did not see all that he had provided before I ordered. Definitely would stay again.

Unplanned trip

The house was so close to perfect I can hardly find a negative thing to say about it. The space is great for 8 people, the furnishings are comfortable and the location outstanding. The host was attentive for the two things I couldn’t figure out. Neither were major issues worth mentioning other than the host was super attentive.

Absolutely perfect!

Having grown up in Concord as a kid, and moving away after high school, I have always stayed in hotels when coming home to visit. But when we started to make plans for Thanksgiving, and we realized we would need three hotel rooms to hold all three of my kids and a new grand baby, we began looking for a Vrbo large enough for everyone…and let me tell you, Chris and Dottie’s home in Concord, was absolutely perfect in every way! Their home ended up being only 4 miles away from my parents and had enough space for everyone! The home’s layout was perfect for our group, with all the homey touches…felt like we were in our own home! Chris and Dottie were quick to respond when we had a question. If we are ever able to get our large group together again, we would definitely use this house again! Absolutely perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Concord and would absolutely return. The home was spacious and comfortable, easily accommodating our family of five—with room for at least two more of our kids to join us. It was the perfect setup for a multi-generational trip with our daughters and granddaughter.The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and very welcoming. We especially enjoyed morning coffee on the back patio and in the sunroom, listening to the birds. The backyard is beautifully landscaped with multiple seating areas, which made it easy to relax and unwind. We also took daily walks with our granddaughter and found the neighbors to be warm and friendly.Another highlight was the location. Despite the calm, residential setting, we were just 5–10 minutes from shopping, restaurants, and golf, which made everything incredibly convenient.Inside, the home offered both private sleeping spaces and multiple living areas, so everyone had room to spread out without ever feeling crowded. Compared to a hotel stay, this property provided far more comfort, space, and value for our family.Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely look to reserve this home again, especially given its close proximity to our family in the area.
