Welcome to The White House Cottage! Come enjoy this beautiful little cottage retreat nestled at the base of 12 scenic mountainside acres. This newly remodeled immaculately clean property will guarantee a true R&R experience! Beautiful queen bedroom with big screen TV, large walk-in closet and sitting area will be the perfect place to relax and unwind. Wifi and full mini kitchen with all the ammenities will beg you to dine-in! EV Charger available upon request. Note there is an additional unit on the property listed as The White House Hub with a separate entrance and a shared inside wall. Our home is pet friendly with an added pet fee.

You will love your stay at The White House Cottage! Newly remodeled inside and out guarantees fresh, clean and stylish decor and furnishings that are both comfortable and cozy! Nestled into the lovely mountains where you can spot deer, rabbit, and enjoy the beautiful native flora and fauna everywhere!

The White House Cottage is a single level home with one step from the laundry to the main home. Please be aware that being nestled against 12 mountain acres, you will be surrounded by active nature, both flora and fauna. There may be poisonous flora native to the area in which you'll need to be aware of if you choose to hike above the property. You're welcome to hike on the mountain directly behind our home at your own risk. We will not be held liable for any accidents or injury.

The perfect getaway

While we rented the whole house, it was perfect having a close hideaway. The dividing door was perfect for allowing late nights for others while still getting much needed rest.

Didn’t actually get to stay

We didn’t actually get to stay due to flight cancellations beyond our power. But communication was great and the owner made sure that if we were able to arrive, we could actually book it for the next night as well. We were very thankful for that even thought it didn’t work with our schedule.

The cottage was clean, small and quaint. The space was used well, but we missed having a separate space to watch tv in the evening. We moved another chair into the bedroom and made it work. Another group was next to us in the larger home and you could hear them, so if you’re traveling with dogs that are prone to bark at noises, then be advised. The yard was nice to have, but since it isn’t fenced in, the dogs had to be leashed, to make sure they didn’t run out into the road out front. There was road noise from the interstate, but it didn’t keep us from having a good night’s sleep. Lava Hot Springs is close by and should be enjoyed if you stay here.
