Chalet L'Apogee is a fully equipped, wonderfully bright and comfortable moiuntain chalet, with semi-private access to the lake, just across the street.

.This chalet is appointed to accommodate up to 8 skiers, golfers, family members and year round vacationers in total peaceful and private comfort (Recommended for 6 adults and 2 children of 12 years or less). It is located in the forest of the 'Villa des Bois' development at Lac Dufour, only a short drive from the quaint shops and restaurants of St-Jovite (5 minutes), several golf courses, and the combined skiing capital of Mont-Tremblant and Mont Blanc. Close to the action ... yet in a world of its own.

L'Apogée is rented directly by its owners, assuring quality and reasonable prices.
It is nestled high in the secluded hills of 'Villa des Bois', on 1.25 acres of private forest. The chalet offers 4 spacious bedrooms on 3 levels, providing privacy for you and your family or friends. It is furnished with leather couches in the living room, a fully equipped kitchen and 3 bathrooms. Our family room is located on the lower level, which allows for some who may wish to watch a movie while others can enjoy the warmth of the fire place on the main level. The chalet offers a combination of hardwood floors, carpeting and ceramic tiles.

The exterior of the chalet has a large balcony and adjacent gazebo - great for outdoor dining! The BBQ may be used all year round. The kitchen is bright and fully equipped. We provide the kitchen staples: spices, sugar, flour, salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard, etc. We also provide all paper products, and the usual foils and cellophane wrap.

The beds are two queen size, one double and twin beds. We provide all linens, duvets, pillows and towels for up to 8 persons..

The family room is on the lower level, where you will find the TV, DVD, VCR and large movie library. Can't leave the office behind? Relax! We have WIFI - high speed internet throughout the property.

The property enjoys a semi-private lake access (for the few residents of Villa des Bois), a 2 minute walk from the chalet. We provide a 2 person kayak for our guests. We have the following life jackets: 2-adults, 1-90 lbs, 1-toddler. Please bring with you any other size that you may need.

Villa des Bois is a small, controlled development in an exquisite, natural, mountain setting. We are approximately an hour and a half drive north of Montreal (Quebec), from either Pierre E.Trudeau International Airport, or from Mirabel Airport, 30 minutes from La Makaza local airport. The drive from Ottawa is approximately two hours.

Shopping is pure fun in the village of St-Jovite or in the original village of Mont Tremblant. Music festivals and sports events are held frequently on the hill at Tremblant. Among them the 'Blues Fest' in July has become a major music event, with some of the wolrd's best musicians.

Of course, winter time includes world class downhill skiing and snowboarding at the local ski resorts (Tremblant, Mont Blanc) located in the immediate area, all within a twelve minute drive from the chalet.

A few steps from our door and you can be snowshoeing in the woods or cross-country skiing around the lakes.

In the summertime our area transforms into a recreational paradise for golfers (9 golf courses within 20 minutes drive! ), horseback riding, bicycling, mountain climbing, hiking, fishing, whitewater rafting, and of course, swimming or,... just sitting around listening to thebirds and enjoying the clean alpine environment and serenity. You are within 20 minutes from Mont Tremblant Provincial Park - a wonderful place to take in scenery and wild life.

You may especially not want to miss our Canadian maple trees turn into a folly of colors in the fall, or taste its sweet syrup at the sugar shacks in spring.
