Gornji Grad vacation rentals

Comfortable and well appointed apartment in central Zagreb, very close to the local attractions. Loved the scented soap/ shower gel, enough towels and the extra blankets were nice to have. Personally, I would have liked a mattress topper for the bed to make it a bit softer but I managed to do this with a spare blanket. Prompt help from staff members when an issue arose with the electronic lock. Overall, a very comfortable stay - thank you!

Everything about the Downtown Pearl is top notch. The location can’t be beat as it is right in the center of the amazing town of Zagreb. Anything you need is in the apartment and communication is excellent. We slept very comfortably and enjoyed our stay very much.

Located right in the center of everything, near Upper Town, St. Mark’s Church, Lotrscak Tower & cannon (great views), Josipa Jelacika public square and countless restaurants. Our host was very attentive and carried our luggage up the stairs where the elevator stops on the 4th floor. The terrace is very inviting though it was rainy during our stay in September. The only drawback was the low ceiling in the bedroom and uneven floors with short step-downs. Be careful if you’re up during the night.

This is a spacious apartment with a great kitchen. The information the owner gave me was helpful. We had a little trouble figuring out which lockbox to use to get the keys. We were able to walk to restaurants, and we drove to the market. Parking was a bit difficult. We had a large van and had to park a few blocks away on a hill during rush hour - so not good planning on our part. But overall this is a nice place to stay at a very good price.

I am super happy that I rented this place for four days. It has the feel of a home, and not a staged rental, and it has many very thoughtful amenities, like bluetooth speakers, different chargers everywhere, a selection of teas, fresh milk for coffee, and a very cute, personally tailored welcome sign. I had been staying in a hotel for a week, and it was nice to get to an actual apartment where I could spread out and do laundry. The location can't be beat. The main Trg Ban Jelacic is less than a minute walking distance from this rental, and this is the first time I have stayed in Zagreb where I didn't take a tramvaj -- there was simply no need given that this was so central. Alan and his property manager were very responsive and were very quick to answer any questions I had, and made sure to arrange for taxis whenever needed, even at 4:30 a.m. Finally, the apartment is on the back side of a courtyard off a busy street. That means that, while this is a seriously bustling location with tons of cafes, tramvajs right outside, shops and restaurants (i.e., street noise), I couldn't hear that street noise in the apartment whatsoever. I can vouch for this because I have a hard time sleeping when it's loud outside, and Zagreb seemed very busy this time of year. I would 150% stay here again.

Sven and Ana's place is wonderful. My husband and I have stayed at dozens of vacation rentals and this is one of the most homey. It is very comfortable and has a lot of personal touches. They provided lots of extra treats that we were not expecting - fruit, milk, juice, wine and many pantry items. The apartment is very spacious and light. The view from the apartment is wonderful. Having coffee or wine on the balcony enjoying the view is a real treat. It is just a few minutes walk to the sights in upper town and yet very quiet and peaceful at night. Many great restaurants, coffee shops and bars very nearby. Ask for recommendations, Sven gave us some great ones! We would definitely recommend thier place and would hope to stay again when we come back to Zagreb.

Plenty of space in this apartment. Conveniently located to many walking attractions of Zagreb. Very clean. Our host was incredibly hospitable. Would certainly re-book here for our next visit to Zagreb.
