About this property

Steps to Lake on the Mountain, 10Minutes to Picton

Perfectly situated, the Cabin is within walking distance to Lake on the Mountain. We welcome you as our guests while you enjoy all that beautiful Prince Edward County has to offer!

Depending on the season, while sitting outside, you can enjoy the views of the fireflies dancing in the field, and the sounds of the loons on the lake, and the Glenora ferry.

We are a licensed STA with Prince Edward County, and abide by all rules & regulations.

The Cabin has unique and custom features, such as a large black cast iron sink from an old farm house; and custom made pine kitchen, doors, and floors.

We provide all the essentials you will need, including extra towels, blankets, pillows, ETC. Games and cards for both kids and adults are located in the bookshelf.

Easy in/out access with a keypad on the front door.

You will have full access to the entire main level - 2 bedrooms, living room, fully equipped kitchen, and bathroom.

I am a short distance away, should you need anything during your stay.

The Cabin is located half a KM past Lake on the Mountain. Beautiful area for walks, runs, or cycling. There is public access to the lake, where you could take your canoe or kayak (no motorized vehicles are permitted on the lake, making it quiet and peaceful). Across the road is a quiet dirt road - also great for walks, and further down are snowmobile trails.

There is ample parking space in the driveway. Should you be looking for transportation - there are both local cab and wine tour companies available.

No mention of security deposit until it was charged day before

The property is adequate. My primary grievance is the difficulty in corresponding with Ashley Cameron the owner of the property. She did not answer my request for how long it would take to receive back my security deposit (nor was said security deposit mentioned in 2 page contract) and it was only after I contacted VRBO that I got the money back minus the GST. The lack of response was frustrating and time consuming.
