Our guest suite is the perfect location to come and unwind. Quiet, peaceful and just steps from the Diamond J horse ranch. A 5 minute drive to Lake on the Mountain resort, Picton downtown and Sandbanks beach. Just 3 minutes from the Glenora ferry.
Sit outside on the private covered porch and enjoy the company of the many birds, bunnies and deer that like to frequent our place!

Great Place to Stay

We had a great time at the Loyalist Bird House. It is in an excellent location to enjoy all the sights around the area. The place is spacious with a very modern kitchen with everything you need, comfortable bedrooms and lovely porch to sit outside and enjoy the gardens and birds. We would happily stay here again.

Great location

The host was very nice and accommodating. The location was close to Picton, Wellington, Bloomfield and other scenic attractions. Overall, we are very pleased with our stay. Thank you Dawn!

Great spot for a weekend getaway!

We loved staying at Dawn & Ron’s place! Great location, a short drive to Picton, beaches, parks, and views. The unit was clean, well-stocked, spacious, and comfortable! Highly recommend. :) We’ll be back for sure!

Lovely retreat

My friends and I were very impressed with Loyalist Birdhouse. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was modern and well laid out. Excellent amenities available.

Great first stay in the county!

My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and it made our first time in prince edward county really wonderful. It was a great location for us and had everything we needed. The hosts were very welcoming and were quick to communicate.

I stayed here with friends for 2 nights. Lovely front porch for conversations and a great space to be away from things which is what we wanted.

Loved our stay!

We loved this accommodation! Dawn was a lovely host and available for anything we needed. Very clean and exactly as described! It was very close proximity to Picton which was great for our bike rides and dinner outings. Would highly recommend!

We had an amazing time. The property met and exceeded our expectations. We are already planning another visit and cannot wait until we can go again. The location was ideal. The spacious living area was exactly what we wanted. Our host made us feel very welcome and nothing was overlooked.

We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch after each day exploring the County. The kitchen is well-stocked, and they left us ice packs to use if needed. Wi-fi is spotty but hey, you're on vacay, there are lots of good books here.

Week day getaway

Perfect mid week stay. Close to all you would need to explore Picton and area...especially Lake on the Mountain. Hosts are very friendky and very accomodating. Place has all you ever need and what lacks Dawn will supply easily. Would recommend this place and will be back again. Cheers

This is a wonderful property in a quiet location just outside Picton. The apartment is well appointed and clean. Check in was seamless. The passes to sandbanks was a nice value add. Would love to stay here again next time in Picton. Thanks Dawn!
