Doe's Hideaway - rural retreat

A charming little getaway cabin surrounded by nature! Doe's Hideaway is a brand-new build completed in August 2023 with all new furniture and appliances. It offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern luxury. Nestled in a serene seeand secluded setting, this fully furnished home provides a peaceful retreat where you can reconnect with nature and create lasting memories. We're off the beaten path, but near Magnolia & the Silos, Baylor, Cameron Park Zoo, ExtraCo Event Center, Downtown Waco, Spice Village, Texas Ranger Museum, and the Dr. Pepper Museum.

Doe's Hideaway features a private bedroom with a King-size bed, French doors opening to the backyard and excellent views of the private pond and surrounding nature. There is a full bath with luxury shower, soaker tub, and separate water closet in the hall near the main bedroom. Additionally, there is a 1/2 bath convenient to all entertaining and sleeping areas. The spacious open-concept living, dining, kitchen area boasts vaulted ceilings and a Queen size sleeper sofa for additional guests.

Guests will have access to the entire private cabin and access to explore all that the surroundings have to offer!

There is one RV hookup for water & electric available for an additional fee, and it is only rented out to cabin occupants. So if you are traveling by RV or bringing extra guests in an RV, they can stay on-site with you. Please send us a private message for details.

We also offer a military discount, and special add-on services like mid-week cleaning for longer stays, a stocked pantry based on your recipe/list, special occasion amenities and on-site mini gift shop. Send us a message for information about any special requests.

Delightfully peaceful property! I have to say it was the cleanest and most well-equipped stay, with so many thoughtful touches! The farm fresh eggs made for a delicious breakfast while we sat on the back porch enjoying beautiful mornings. My husband enjoyed the fishing and it was an easy 15 minute drive to Baylor. We loved the donkeys and the longhorns - such an enjoyable stay!

The cabin was set in a serene pasture with long horn cattle nearby. The ducks around the pond were fun to watch. The bed was comfortable. I highly recommend this rental.

This is our second stay here for our anniversary. I hope we make this an annual habit. We always leave so relaxed after our stay and the fishing was fantastic. My Wife enjoyed sitting in the swing and watching me catch one large bass after another.We recommend Doe’s Hideaway to two of our friends and both will be reserving dates. I think the fishing pictures pushed them over the edge.Fantastic spot to kick back and relax. Highly recommend this home. We didn’t even turn on the TV until the end of the second day.

Doe's Hideaway was fantastic for our stay in the area. Dorothy communicated well to us regarding our stay and entry to the house. The house had more than enough room for my wife and I. The place is spotless and extremely well maintained. The property is majestic. We loved greeting the long horn cows and the donkeys each morning. The birds are amazing too. If you have a chance to stay here don't pass it up. It will not disappoint.

We loved our stay at Doe’s Hideaway, this is our second visit, the place and the host never disappoint. Everything is very clean, beautifully decorated, cabinets are fully stocked, there’s plenty of open fields, it’s quiet and the lake make it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We had a wonderful time with our stay. We were visiting family in Waco so the Doe's Hideaway was far enough away from Waco to enjoy relaxation after a busy day. The stay was in the middle of a severe storm but the stay in the Doe's Hideaway was cozy and peaceful when storms were all around. The Doe's Hideaway will be our home away from home when we are visiting the Waco area.

Doe’s Hideaway was a perfect choice for my week away from the chaotic suburban life. The home was beautifully decorated, Clean, and well provided with all the amenities to make my stay comfortable. The quiet of the country sounds helped in my relaxation. Fishing rods, an outdoor barbecue pit all provided, with comfortable rocking chairs to relax and watch the sunset and sunrise each day. The skies are alive with celestial lights every night, if there’s no clouds! The inspiration and vision of the 4T family is appreciated and admired. Thank you for opening your farm and Ranch world to us that need a quiet place to escape to. I highly recommend you check out Doe’s Hideaway.

We truly love the rural lifestyle and want others to experience the relaxation and beauty that we are blessed to call home. Doe's Hideaway is zin a quiet back area of our family's farm and ranch land, so you have access to view nature and relax in a brand new build with all the modern comforts.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We're located on farm and ranch land between the small communities of Hallsburg, Mart, and Riesel, Texas. We're also just a short drive from Marlin and near to Waco and all that it has to offer.

During the Spring we have some of the best bluebonnet patches in the state, and from Thanksgiving through New Year's Eve (weather permitting) we have free drive-through Christmas lights around the main farm house a very short drive away.
