Luxury on the Delaware River

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful find! This was our second time here . House has top-of-the-line furnishings & luxuries. Our older group appreciated the elevator & walk-in shower. We were sorry we were too old to use the kayaks, canoes & bikes that were available. Located right on the Delaware River, the views were wonderful; scenic views in all directions. The canal boat ride on the Lehigh canal was a treat, as was shopping in New Hope/Lambertville & Frenchtown. For great meals, try Black Bass In &, Sergeantsville Inn. Owner Joan was very gracious & easy to work with. We expect to return. Tish Weise

A wonderful vacation with long time friends

  • 5 of 5

The house was perfect for our annual get together with old friends (3 couples). Spotless and exactly as described or better. Great views out toward the river (my wife and I especially liked the bedroom on the fourth floor). The elevator was very convenient in moving between all floors. BIG kitchen with all the appliances you will need. Joan was great to work with and quickly answered any questions we had both before and after arrival including info. on towns close by as well as restaurants. You can't go wrong here for a great Bucks county visit. Heartily recommended!!

90th Birthday Celebration/Family Reunion

  • 5 of 5

We are a lucky family on so many levels, we were able to celebrate our mother’s 90th birthday by having a big family reunion in these amazing homes on the Delaware River. From the moment we turned into the drive the house felt warm and inviting. Like pulling into the garage at home, everything you could think of was there but unlike home it was neat. There’s a shopping cart to help with the bags, a shower chair for my mother, fishing rods, bikes, etc. It only got better when we stepped off the elevator, every detail was well thought out. The décor is a mix of comfortable, casual elegance. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, the decks had a million dollar view, the fishing made some men very happy and some men cry, the kayaks were a big hit and the kids loved the music room. I can’t express enough how lovely our stay was and how we look forward to coming back. Joan, thank you very much for making our stay memorable.

My Daughters 30th Birthday weekend.

  • 5 of 5

We had the fortunate experience to spend a memorable weekend celebrating my daughters 30th birthday in this beautiful home. The home is so beautiful, spacious and comfortable that our 10 guest did not want to leave. The home is perfectly situated near so many beautiful little towns, wineries, hiking trails, biking trails, ect. that we really needed a week to enjoy it all! Joan, the owner, was very gracious and helpful with meeting all our needs and the house was in pristine condition upon arrival. We will put this on our list of place to return too! Thank you so much for making a fabulous memory.

We have stayed with our family in both of Joan's houses on the river and we are never disappointed. The house is immaculate and she provides all essentials for a pleasant stay.

The location is great.... just steps away from the dock with fishing and kayaking. The views are so beautiful from every room in the house where you can appreciate the river in all it's beauty. We took a walk daily on the toe path with our adult children. We keep coming back to the area year after year as we love the quaint restaurants and are never disappointed at Joan's house !! You must experience for yourself !! We can't wait to go back !!

The Best Destination of All-The Property Itself

  • 5 of 5

When we rented this house the first year, we vowed to spend more time in it the second year-and now we’ve been going there for 4 years.

It is everything the gracious owner describes and more. The views of the river on the three back decks, the two docks right on the river or from the two bedroom balconies, are pastoral.

There is care and comfort in every detail of the house from the wood paneled elevator, to the spacious appliance filled kitchen, the roomy bright bedrooms, one being a cozy attic one. There is plenty of room, intelligently spaced.

Every detail, the Tiffany-like wall lights going up the stairs, the two sided fireplace with a pile of wood waiting to warm the night, the bikes for riding the towpath just minutes away, make it a vacation retreat complete.

We dined at the expansive dining room table on Saturday night, and then did star watching on the deck after a beautiful sunset.

You'll be close to many wonderful destinations in Bucks County, but we discovered that the best destination of all was the property itself.
