We had a wonderful stay even with Tropical Storm Bertha affecting our beach time. The beach view is perfect, the walk to the beach is very easy. Having the beach chairs with an umbrella is a perfect way to enjoy the beach. The condo is spacious. We only had two people but it would be fine for up to 6. Additionally, the beds and pillows were comfortable (we did not try the pull-out sofa). The chairs on the patio were awesome and we spent most of our time outside watching the view. We enjoyed the passes to the aquarium and the dolphin tour boats. We wanted to share a few minor pieces of feedback that did not affect our stay, but could help improve the experience for future guests: - The kitchen is well-stocked, but the kitchen tools could use some organization - A starter roll of paper towels was not provided, which would have been nice to have upon arrival. - The condo overall could use a deep clean and a refresh. Specifically, the rug by the patio door has edges that present a tripping hazard, and the other rugs tend to shift. A knob was missing from a drawer, and the wall by the patio door needs work.Despite these minor items, we truly enjoyed our time and would gladly book this property again.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the property needed an update on items like cabinets and furniture. Some routine maintenance was also needed such as burned out light bulbs and the screens for the sliding door to the balcony was ripped. Otherwise the property was decent and fairly comfortable.

Good location needs some tlc

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beach was great. Condo needed a carpet clean, some new comforters, bathroom showers were discusting, the walls were literally slimy. Overall it wasn’t a disaster but for the money you shell out for these condos you can get a very nice hotel room. Owners should spend a couple bucks and shampoo carpet and get on their cleaning crews.

Just a few needs.

Enjoyed my stay but sofa sleeper was a joke! Nothing to hold it up and the mattress was just a thing spring. Ended up putting it on couch cushions on the floor. Glad it was just for the kids! Needed more blankets only had bedspreads. Well stocked kitchen supplies and lots of beach toys! The sliding glass door was impossible to slide even in after we cleaned track and soaped it to help with slide. Could really get hurt trying to pull. Great master with bath. Really nice and clean complex! Big pool right on the beach.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was very, very disappointed in this condo. It was very outdated and in need of a lot of repair. The kitchen appeared to be stocked with items from Goodwill. There were very few matching dishes and forks and knives were very, very piece milled! I would not want to stay here again! I loved the property where it was located. This was a very bad experience for me. I brought my new bride to be and we were very disappointed. For the price we paid we should've had much, much better accommodations. I would not recommend this condo for anyone!Ken Hanie

Will not rent this unit again.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a good experience with the rental company up until we checked in. After check in, we noticed the room was very warm. Called the rental company and they shared that the unit shouldn't be set any lower than 73. The only time the unit cooled down to 73 was at night, other wise it stayed around 75-76 in the room the entire time. This is not a comfortable temperature in the summer heat at the beach. Thankfully we brought fans because the rental company never sent anyone out to check the unit. Also noticed that the air filter was extremely dirty and asked if they would mind sending someone out to change. That was never changed, we bought a new one at Walmart and changed ourselves. The bathroom tubs had mold all around the corners to which we also bought clorox cleanup at Walmart and cleaned that as well. The guest bathroom shower was clogged and would not drain. Called about that as well, if they sent someone out, we never knew it (as we weren't notified), but we had also purchased Draino at Walmart and began using that on the clogged drain as soon as we noticed the issue. We have stayed at other units (managed by other companies) at the Islander in previous years, and will go back to using those companies again. I will say this unit was a little cheaper than the others but we soon learned that cheaper isn't always better.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Okaloosa Island for the last 8 years from Mid Jan to Beginning of March. We had to book later than normal due to health issues. The unit had been cleaned but was in serious need of a thorough deep cleaning and updating furniture and fixtures. The nicest part of the unit was the swimming pool and overall condition of the grounds. We called when we got there due to many missing and burnt out light bulbs we were told that they would contact the owners but nothing happend and we finally just bought new bulbs and replaced them. Also someone came and lookd at the broken screen door and said they would tell the owners to get new one. Carpet and livng room furniture was in need of a good cleaning as it was deep down dirty. We called because water was leaking below kitchen sink and someone did come out and replace the disposal. While it was not necessarily your fault we did go three days without water due to repairs in the system taking place. It just added to our general diaappointment in this years trip and stay

Great view

Had a good time. The umbrella/chair attendant very nice and helpful. Condo clean...balcony table and chairs weren't very comfortable. Had an issue getting access to condo... I didn't receive an email telling me how to get into the condo. Check in was on a Sunday. Had to call vrbo and they were very helpful. The Sunday we checked in had to call the property manager emergency number to get details to get packet info to get into condo. Overall a great time.
