The Coast Inn is a one bedroom cottage, completely remodeled and very very clean.
Cute and cozy cabin with three large old glass fishing floats built right into the wall. These add such charm, especially when the sun goes down. Sit on the deck and enjoy some wonderful sunsets over the ocean, after a long day playing on the beach. Coast Inn is a perfect romantic cabin for a couple, you can cook your own meal or hit one of the local restaurants, maybe do some gambling after dinner at Quinault Beach Casino, or my favorite is taking a walk on the beach and enjoying the sunset. Gas fireplace for ambiance . Tile and wood floors,(no stinky carpet) comfortable queen size bed, along with a top of the line, no bars sofa bed in living room, beach theme interior, with games, cards, and lots of movies to enjoy, along with premium movie channels, HBO-Showtime-Cinamax etc. with direct TV. Bonus MLB Baseball package! I will try and make your stay as comfortable as possible, if you need any extra's or special surprises/requests for your loved one before you arrive, let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate.
Moclips is a place to relax and enjoy our beautiful Washington Ocean Beaches, unspoiled by tourist traps, but if you like that sort of thing its just a short drive to Ocean Shores where you will have plenty of 'tourist type' activities. (Bumper cars-horse back riding, moped rentals, gambling ect)
I will be more than happy to give you any local information of what you can do during your stay in Moclips, day trips, where to eat, services, local history.
Be aware of rentals that don't have any reviews, a lot of them choose not to accept reviews as we can't change them once written, so rental owners choices are to accept all or none. Take a look at the Coast Inn's reviews to read what other guests are saying about their stay.

We are baby boomers. Raised in Tacoma, and married for 35+ years, we love the outdoors, and traveling to explore new area's.
Mary Hill purchased this cabin in 2005
I fell in love with Moclips 20 years ago when we would visit friends who had a weekend place. We soon had to have our own 'piece of the pie' and bought our very first vacation home. The Coast Inn used to be our weekend place until we purchased another, I then only used it as a guest cabin for family and friends, but now that I'm retired, we had it completely remodeled, and decided to put it in the nightly rental pool.
The first time we visited Moclips 20 years ago we rented a cabin for $100 a night, by 2am both my husband and I left like bandits in the night because it was just too dirty for us. I told him I would never rent a place unseen again, so we bought a motor home where I knew I would have a clean place to lay my head. Shortly after, we noticed a place for sale and now are Moclips 'weekenders', we built a new home on another lot we own. I fell in love with Moclips and I know you will too. Its Washington's best kept secret.
You will find the Coast Inn very clean and fresh, I pride myself on that fact. My goal is to hear my guests say 'this is the cleanest place I have ever stayed'
No where else have I been where I can walk a beach and most the time have it all to myself. Homes are closer to the Ocean than any other area on the Washington North Coast, Moclips is the first Privately owned beach front property on Washington's Coast. Anything North is either State Land or Native American.
Rich in history, colorful locals, unspoiled beaches, fantastic sunsets, great shelling, and clam digging are just some of the reasons Moclips is so special.
My husband and I stayed at Coast Inn for a short "getaway" in May. The cottage is beautifully decorated in a seashore theme, and is well equipped with games, movies, music cds, etc. The kitchen is also equipped with everything needed. The beach is easily accessible, and just a short walk away (just across the street.) Beautiful beach, with smooth, even sand.
Mary Hill is very accommodating, and ready to help in any way needed. We loved the treats she left for us. She even decorated a a very crafty sea dollar ornament for us to take as a reminder of our trip!
We also drove up to the rain forest, which is beautiful and just a short drive away.
Altogether, this was a very relaxing, perfect, trip. We would love to return to the Coast Inn sometime in the future.
If you are looking for clean, you found it! This is a nice, attractively decorated small cabin with a peek-a-boo view directly across the street from an ocean front mobile home.
I purchased a three night stay for my wife, Diane, as a birthday gift. She is a writer and wanted to focus on writing a book without interruption in a quiet environment.
The cabin was very quiet, clean and pleasing. There are lots of little touches that all added up to a very inviting visit, more of a "home" atmosphere than a rental. Little things like having butter and cooking oil available, and utensils and dishes, and bottle openers make a big difference.
Mary was absolutely wonderful to work with. She contacted me to ask if I wanted to send a card for Diane's birthday that she would make sure it was there at checkin. I asked if it was also possible to stock the cabin with a bottle of her favorite wine and flowers and Mary was tickled to make those arrangements and even made sure a chilled crystal wine glass was ready.
When Diane checked in she was surprised and thrilled. She loved the cabin and had a very peaceful and productive stay. She particularly enjoyed the gas Lopi stove that kept things cozy in spite of the cold and rain outside.
We highly recommend renting from Mary, the attention to detail she pays made for an exquisite time.
The Coast Inn is a real gem, thanks to Mary! Clean, cozy and downright perfect for the two of us. Beach is literally a walk across the road.
A must see is Lake Quinault, and drive the entire loop! Waterfalls, rivers, ancient trees in the rain forest.
Thanks again Mary...we will be back...and back...and back...
So happy to have rented your beach house for our first stay in Moclips and for our first beach experience with SNOW!
For us, the Coast Inn is the quintessential beach cabin, with touches of a first class hotel. It's not only exceptionally clean but has everything you could possibly need, including hats, gloves, and jackets for those who might not have come prepared for a winter storm. You can park nearly at the front door, and the beach is an easy walk just across the street and over a couple of low sand dunes. Or, you can view the ocean from inside, surrounded by the warmth of the gas log stove.
Our invigorating beach walks in the wind, rain, and occasional snow rewarded us with dozens of sand dollars, sightings of bald eagles near the Moclips River, one near-perfect sunset, and even a rainbow.
We highly recommend a visit to the Museum of the North Beach, just a short drive up the road. It's chock full of old pictures and artifacts, and if the docent, Virginia, is there, she can tell you lots about the local history. Be sure to check out the old frozen food locker that now serves as the museum office.
Many thanks to owners/hosts, Mary and Joe, for making our extended winter weekend get-away so perfect, from the ease of booking to seeing us safely off after the icy weather! Helen and Jim, Port Orchard, WA
This beach cabin is cozy, clean and has EVERYTHING one would need for a great stay at the ocean!! We walked the beach, read and relaxed and explored the wonderful Moclips area. I highly recommend this cabin!
Kite flying-small bowling alley and massage/gym-swimming pool close by you can buy a day pass for.
Drive to Pacific Beach, Seabrook, Ocean Shores, Tahola, Lake Quinault, Rain Forest, and the Olympic Peninsula.
