- In a low density neighborhood less than three miles to downtown Gatlinburg
- 18 mins to Dollywood
- 8 mins to a Food City
During the winter months, you can see the lights of Anakeesta in Downtown Gatlinburg from the home. Another benefit about the location of the home is in high seasons when Gatlinburg traffic can be heavy, if you use GPS, there are alternate routes that can help cut down some of the time spent in traffic getting in and out of Gatlinburg.
As with many cabins in the Smoky Mountains, you may occasionally see ladybugs or other small insects during colder months. This is a normal seasonal occurrence as they seek warmth. The home is regularly maintained and professionally serviced, but in a wooded mountain setting, small insects can still appear from time to time.
Getting Around:
The drive up to the property is very manageable. There are only two moderate switchbacks on the drive up to the house, neither of switch have major drop offs down the side of a hill.
There is a two car carport for the property. It can fit two full-size SUVs. There is enough room for two more smaller cars in the driveway behind the car port.
Other Things to Note:
On the main level of the house, you have the kitchen, dining room, vaulted living room, upstairs sunroom, screened in porch, hallway FULL bathroom and primary ensuite bedroom & bathroom. There is a "getting ready station" inside the right side of the closet in the master bedroom.
Downstairs, you'll find the downstairs den with drink station, game room, bunk room, which features two FULL beds and two TWIN XL beds, the downstairs full bathroom, third bedroom that comes with a queen size bed, and lastly, the mud room. The hot tub is located on the lower deck along with the fire pit.
