Cozy home rental perfect for fishing at Salmon River!

Welcome to our rustic house in the woods! Located on a rural area of State Route 13 within the Tug Hill Plateau, our rustic house provides a unique experience for all levels of outdoor enthusiasts. Salmon River is a 15-minute drive right down the road, perfect for the out-of-town anglers looking for a place to stay. The Redfield Reservoir and Kasoag Lake are also within 10 minutes of the property. Looking for a place to unwind and explore with a snowmobile or ATV? Explore the trails within minutes of our location. Happy Valley and other state lands are perfect to hunt on, all within a 10 minute drive. Countless state parks are within a driving distance to the property.

Our rustic house comes fully stocked. The kitchen has a coffee pot, all types of pots/pans, dinnerware/drinkware, a toaster, and utensils. The bathrooms have towels/wash clothes as well as a blow dryer. All 3 bedrooms are newly furnished with comfortable beds. Large breezeway to store all of your outdoor gear, a perfect place to hang everything to dry. There is a usable outdoor grill. After a long adventurous day, take a moment to unwind in our screened in pavilion area with a built-in fireplace. If you aren’t in the mood to cook, there are various hometown restaurants to choose from.

During the winter months, there will be daily snow removal, so don’t fear getting stuck! House is heated with propane heat. During the hot summer months, there is central air.

Free WIFI available, all bedrooms are furnished with a TV each.

House was clean and had everything we needed from WiFi to dishes, towels, etc. This is our second stay and the place is quaint, clean and the gazebo is a great get away. I suggest bringing water to cook with and drink as the tap water has a sulfur smell.

Williamstown Weekend

We attended graduation at Syracuse. Williamstown was further than we wanted to be, but everything close to the college was already booked. The house was fantastic, clean, and had everything that we needed. The outdoor porch was cozy and is a nice little getaway. Great place to stay.

Best rental near the river

By far one of the most comfortable rentals I have been in for fishing the Salmon River. The rooms were all clean+ tastefully decorated, the kitchen was great (though lacking enough bowls), the living room offered plenty of comfort. Had we stay awake past 9, we might have ventured into the enclosed patio with fireplace, which was pretty slick for after river nightcaps. The only mistake we made was not bringing our 5 gal cooler full of water, as anyone who has stayed in the Oswego county knows, the water is terrible. This was no exception nor was it the outlier. Otherwise, this is my new go to rental for the Salmon River. I also can't wait to see the upgrades to the mudroom!!
