I loved our historic jelly bean home, in a quiet neighbourhood. It was charming, it felt like home. The beds were very comfortable. The location was perfect to walk and explore St John’s. David was an attentive host.
This was a total gem to stay in! Very well appointed and exceedingly comfortable. Everything you need to enjoy your stay. Ideal location to walk downtown or get to heritage tourist sites. Easy check in and check out. The host is very responsive to questions/issues. I’d definitely stay there again!

This clean, tidy and cute property is a perfect depiction of downtown St. John's living. It was comfortable and bright. It is just a short walk to all the downtown attractions and great coffee shops.
Excellent accommodation, amenities, and location.Communication with David, host was professional and timely. Greatly appreciated David’s suggestions and insight.Ideal spot to explore St. John’s and area.Thank you David!!!
The house is absolutely beautiful and such a cool historic property. The location offers walkability to all the main attractions in St. John’s.
The feel of the stay is definitely more formal/hotel like and you have to pay a deposit through another third party site, so good to keep that in mind, but place is a great stay!
We stayed with just our small family but would be ideal for a group trip!

Flawless Stay
This place is perfect -- beautiful 3-story house, clean, quiet, comfortably appointed, expertly managed, all necessities and luxuries provided, minutes to everything in the most charming part of St. John's, and a screaming deal. Highest possible recommendation.
Jelly Bean row location was amazing. We went for a walk through the Battery and up Signal Hill, played in the Harbour Symphony, and had amazing fish n chips at The Duke of Duckworth.
The place was perfect. Thank so much!

Andrew was a fantastic guest. Kept the place very tidy. We would welcome Andrew back anytime.
The booking process had too many steps, surveys, website links with passwords and a hidden damage deposit fee. Honestly for how empty and void this house was we wished we had just stayed at a hotel because that would have been easier, more transparent, comfortable and convenient. We didn’t like allllll the automated emails from the hosts that hinted at wanting 5 star reviews from us, the signs around the house with towel stain rule reminders and the whole vibe of the house just gave us “this couple owns dozens and dozens of short term rentals and is making a profit by depleting the housing stock in a city that needs housing very badly. We thought we were booking a short term rental from a family that actually lived in the house while they were away- because it looked like a cozy home in the listing, but in-fact this is a cold STR that had a few tacky Winners art on the walls and a few plastic house plants here and there. These are clearly STR hoarding landlords who don’t need your money (give your money to a Bed & Breakfast or hotel instead, we wish we had!) The second floor bathroom had black mold on the bathroom ceiling, and a leaky window when it rained. All of the mattresses had plastic covers on them which made the bed feel really hot at night and when you moved positions while sleeping the plastic covers were loud and woke us up- I’ve made it through my whole adult life without peeing the bed, so this was an odd choice, and it actually made me nervous, like “maybe I wil
