About this property

Wooded Oasis by the Beach

Relax with friends and family at this wooded retreat within a 5 min. drive to Lake Michigan! Enjoy this fully updated home with acres of wooded land to explore along with easy access to both Grand Beach and New Buffalo Beach. Gather around the fire pit on summer evenings or around the stone fireplace in the winter. Close to great restaurants, shops, wineries and breweries.
The space
This mid-century gem has been recently updated but retains its original charm. Large rooms and great closets. The kitchen is open to the dining area and living room for easy entertaining or hanging with friends and family. The outdoors are incredible with expansive front and back yard plus wooded area all around. We have indoor and outdoor games available for guests to enjoy--croquet, bags/corn-hole, board games, cards and puzzles!

You will have full access to the home and grounds. The barn is currently a simple structure--nothing fancy!
Other things to note
There is a train line running along the driveway side of the property and freight trains go through 2-3 times per day.

Beautiful Home

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. It was spacious, clean, and had eveything we needed. We got to see a ton of different wildlife on the front lawn which was so awesome for the kiddos. I highly recommend this place!

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was fully stocked! All the kitchen amenities were available, even sharp knives (which never seems to happen at a rental) beach towels, and we loved enjoying the fire pit out back. It’s a lovely property where we saw deer I. The morning and a bald eagle flying overhead. The hosts were lovely and accommodating. We will be back!

Why they chose this property

The house is located on 7 acres of nature but also just a few minutes away from Lake Michigan beaches, shopping, restaurants and more. We like to take long walks and bike rides exploring nature and all that Harbor Country has to offer!
