Welcome to our home! Furnished with you in mind, focused on comfort, style and convenience for your Fairfield County visit. You’ll enjoy a relaxing experience at this centrally-located home, just a one minute drive to Sacred Heart University and the Merritt Parkway, close to the local favorite parks, beaches, shopping and restaurants! We’ve enjoyed creating this comfortable space and are excited to share it with you!
The space
The main living space features a newly renovated kitchen, open to the dining area and living room with fireplace. The breakfast bar has four stools for extra dining space. The dining room has seating for 4 and French doors leading to the spacious back yard and outdoor patio, with Adirondack chairs and a fire pit. Enjoy outdoor dining at the table for 6 located on a covered patio with ambient patio lighting.

The second floor has three bedrooms and one full bathroom with tub. The main bedroom has a queen bed, large dresser, side chair, ceiling fan with LED lighting and two spacious closets.
The second bedroom has a queen bed, 6-drawer dresser, desk and ceiling fan with LED lighting. The third bedroom has a double bed with twin bunk. There is a small dresser and large closet.

There is a family room/office just 5 steps down from the kitchen area, with a walk out to the exterior patio and half bathroom. This space is great for those who need to get some work done as well as an extra space for family fun with an extra sofa, coffee table and an assortment of games!
Guest access
The entire living space and exterior is available for use. The garage and basement are not included in short stays but can be worked into longer term visits. You will have a private access code for entry upon arrival

Family Visit

The house was lovely and exactly as pictured. Our family of 5 had plenty of room and enjoyed the games downstairs and the large backyard. The house is very conveniently located to restaurants, shops and the Merritt Parkway. We have family nearby and would live to stay again!

Great place. Perfect location. Well maintained

I stayed here with my two teenagers. The house was beautifully decorated and incredibly clean. We loved being close to SHU and shopping. We would love to make this house the only place we stay at when we come to the area. The backyard is huge and we loved the firepit.

My wife and I were in the area for a month visiting our son and his family. We had the grandkids over several times. It was great having a nice home to have them over and give their mom and dad a break. Jen, the homeowner and host, was fantastic in every way.

Cozy, inviting and great location

The property exceeded our expectations. Everything was clean and organized and in great condition. The Host was very responsive and always quick if something was needed. It is located allowing easy access to shopping , restaurants and major highways. We could not have asked for more. We extended our stay because we enjoyed it so much. Looking forward to our next stay here.

Not a pleasant experience

Definitely not our best VRBO stay. The house itself is pleasant, decently supplied, and tidy. However, the bathrooms were in rough shape. They're in desperate need of an update. The worst thing though was what we suspect was black mold on the floors, tub/shower, and heating vents. Also, host communication was poor and very delayed.

Hi Nancy, I'm sorry you didn't feel the house was to your satisfaction. I've personally lived in this house with my family for 7 months with the exact furnishings and linens. Each bedroom has a comforter and a throw blanket. There was no iron or ironing board advertised in the listing. You asked for extra blankets after your first night - and an iron and ironing board. After work, I went to purchase new full sized blankets for each bedroom for you and an ironing board and iron - which I've now updated the listing to include. After which I went to my nieces musical 45 min away, and on my way back dropped off the newly purchased items to the house at 8:30pm. There is definitely no black mold, I just left the property and saw nothing. The cleaning crew confirmed the same. The house is not a new home although many updates have recently been made, and the bathroom is as pictured.
