Beautiful home in the country

We stayed here with 2 families for Thanksgiving and it was perfect for a large gathering. Very spacious and clean. Beds and linens were super comfortable. House had everything we needed. Host was super kind and accommodating and very responsive. Communication was excellent. Host went out of her way to recommend local attractions, restaurants and wineries. She also left us a personal welcome note and goodie basket. The property is beautiful and the views can't be beat. Very private and serene in a rural setting yet surprisingly close to downtown Eugene.

Beautiful serene retreat

This property is located just a short drive from downtown Eugene, but is located in a beautiful quiet spot. The outside is Impeccably maintained and the duck with hot tub is the perfect place to destress. Inside the home has everything you need to enjoy a visit and lots of space for everyone to spread out. The check-in process was very easy, and the instruction manual left behind, answered all of our questions. The drive to U of O was an easy 20 minutes and definitely worth it to experience a different kind of Oregon. Corrine was a terrific host and in communication throughout our visit to answer our questions, although we didn’t have many because she had prepared the home for a visit. I especially loved that she had stocked K cups for coffee and left a basket of goodies that were definitely needed after long trip from Boston. Would definitely stay with Corrine again.

Family, friends, and animals are an essential focus of my life. As a retired teacher and Grandmother, I love planning and helping others enjoy their lives. Making memories is critical in the moment and can be treasured for a lifetime. I grew up on a larger part of this property. My husband and I were the general contractors in building our home. We lived in the 1920’s homestead of approximately 600 square feet when we moved in to it in 1990. It took us two years nights and weekends, doing plumbing, electrical, flooring tiling, decking and painting ourselves supervised with architects, tradesmen. We raised our three children here. We love our location, property and built it with large gatherings as a focus success. We want others to enjoy life experiencing what we love; family and friendships comfortably savoring modern amenities in secluded Oregon forests near Eugene and Florence.

It’s beautiful all year long and vey peaceful. It’s secluded enough to be free of offending others offering privacy.

What makes this property unique

Hillside home has views of Fern Ridge Reservoir through the open and mowed three acres on the ten acre parcel which is zoned eighty acre minimum forestry property. Hundreds of forest surrounds us. We have a vast amount of wildlife that can be observed.
