We first discovered Lake Pepin when we moved to Minnesota in 2009. After a few years of spending days on the lake, in 2013 we purchased a summer home in Pepin. We loved it so much, that we decided to make Pepin our full-time residence. We enjoy everything the Mississippi River valley has to offer. Alma is a one-of-a-kind town on the western Wisconsin border. Alma's two streets stretch for seven gorgeous miles along the banks of the Mississippi River and are connected by “stairway streets” that climb the scenic river bluffs. The historic downtown offers antique shops, art galleries, and restaurants all within walking distance. Take in the breathtaking views from Buena Vista Park or enjoy a glass of wine atop the bluff at nearby Danzinger Winery.
