A recently refurbished studio apartment suitable for 2-3 people travelling together.
We provide all mod cons and every convenience to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A fully equipped kitchen, WiFi, cable TV and parking if needed are all included in the price. We also have laundry facilities available for anyone that need it.
Freshly laundered bed linen & towels are provided as well as a hairdryer and iron.
There is a double bed and a pull down sofa bed that can sleep another person comfortably. There is also a bathroom with a recently installed electric power shower.
Every effort has been made to provide all the comforts of home and all of our guests find this apartment charming and great value.
Extremely convenient to Dublin City Centre with a bus just a minutes walk from the front door taking you to the doors of Trinity College in just 10 minutes. Other places to visit are Guinness Storehouse, Kilmainham Gaol, Jameson Distillery, Phoenix Park (this is a 8 minute walk away), Dublin Zoo, Botanic Gardens, James Joyce Centre, St. Stephens Green, Christchurch Cathedral, Conference Centre, Viking & Medieval Area and numerous galleries and museums.
The house is a beautiful old Victorian red bricked building and is full of character and charm. This studio is situated at the back of the house and is quiet and tranquil so guests can relax in peace and quiet after a long day sightseeing.
All of our guests remark on how easy it is to commute to Dublin city centre and beyond as there is an excellent bus service that runs right by the house that will take you all over Dublin and even beyond if required. There is also the light rail system "Luas" that is only a few minutes walk from the apartment also. For guests that hire a car there is on street parking that is free.
There is a major supermarket just a 3 minute walk away with a bakery, butchers and a pharmacy.
There are several great restaurants in the neighbourhood and all are within walking distance of 10 minutes or less. There are great pubs nearby and one in particular that our guests love that provides nightly traditional music and is a great attractions for guests and locals alike.
We feel that our apartments provide great value for a great getaway at a reasonable price.

I manage to meet most guests on arrival but if I can't I nearly always get to meet them before they check out.
If I'm unable to meet guests on arrival I will emailed detailed instructions of where to find the keys.

This street is a beautifully tree lined street which runs right up the the entrance of the Phoenix Park.
This park is the largest urban park in Europe and houses Dublin Zoo and the presidential home and offices as well as a children's playground. It is a wonderful park to visit and spans over 1750 acres.
The street also has beautiful Victorian red bricked houses all along it which date back to the 18th century so it really is a taste of old Dublin. Deer roam freely here and it's a wonderful way to spend a day and enjoy the beautiful gardens. You can also hire bikes here.
There is a major supermarket just 3 minutes walk as well as a pharmacy, bakery, coffee shops, bars, restuarants and many other amenities all within easy walking distance. It's a mainly residential area and as the house is set back from the road noise is at a minimum even though you are so close the city.
There is an excellent public transport system with several bus routes that pass right past the house and also a light rail system that is easily accessible. The 46a stops right outside the house so you can be in the city in 10 minutes. Buses are frequent and reliable and we suggest for any guest staying longer than 3 days to pick up a Leap card.
We can organise taxis for guests upon request and an airport transfer can be arranged also upon request for a fee.

The tenant receives two keys to the apartment. One key will open the front and the other key will open the internal door.
The rental property is fully equipped and furnished.

At the end of the rental period the tenant will leave the property in clean condition.
Any additional cleaning costs incurred by the proprietor may be passed on to the tenant.
The rental property including the furniture and other contents are to be treated with care. The tenant is held responsible for the actions of other people, including any guests or visitors they might have within the apartment.

A great place to stay with easy access to the city centre in just 10 minutes by bus.
There is a regular bus service that runs right by the front door and there is the light rail system which is a great way to see Dublin in its entirety.
We are located just 10 minutes from the city centre and have an excellent public transport service right outside the front door.
There is a major supermarket just 3 minutes walk away as well as a pharmacy, bakery, butchers, medical centre and a laundromat for guests that need this facility.
There are cafes, pubs and restaurants all within easy walking distance (max 10 minutes) and one pub in particular plays traditional Irish music nightly and has to be visited during your stay. It's an old Irish pub and people gather nightly to play here. Not to be missed!
There are also excellent restaurants so if you don't want to cook you could pop into L. Mulligan's Bistro (check out the review it got in the NY Times), Plan B, Cucina, My Thai and various cafes for that all important cup of coffee and chat.
We have eaten in all of these establishments and we couldn't fault any of them so rest assured that you won't be disappointed.
If you plan on eating in the city then it's only a short bus ride or walk to find a wealth of restaurants and places to eat that will take your breath away. The quality and standard of food in Dublin not to mention the variety is second to none so there really is something for everyone.
There are also some takeaways nearby so if you don't want to cook or if you don't want to venture out this is an option also.

Why the Owner Chose Cabra East, Dublin, Ireland:
I chose this location for the proximity to the city centre and of course the beautiful Victorian Redbrick lined North Circular Road.These properties are a feature of Dublin and are preserved by Dublin Council. The fact that the Phoenix Park and the Botanic gardens are within walking distances is an absolute plus, providing plenty of recreational activity.
