Winding Ridge es una casa de huéspedes réplica de dos habitaciones de principios de 1900 ubicada en 22 acres de felicidad campestre.
La habitación principal cuenta con una romántica cama king size de hierro forjado ubicada frente a una chimenea de leña. El segundo dormitorio tiene una cama de tamaño completo con un nido extraíble doble. El baño principal cuenta con una romántica bañera doble, un gran armario con batas y pantuflas para su uso. El segundo baño tiene una hermosa bañera vintage y lavabo con una gran ducha. La sala de estar alberga un fabuloso sofá de cuero con una cama plegable de tamaño queen para huéspedes adicionales que desean relajarse frente a la chimenea principal. Las camas Winding Ridge están amuebladas con las hermosas sábanas y ropa de cama belga lavadas a la piedra de Restoration Hardware para ayudar a que su estadía sea inolvidable.

La casa tiene un gran patio cubierto con parrilla, mesas y sala de estar con chimenea para disfrutar al aire libre. Hermosos jardines rústicos rodean la casa, incluyendo un enorme árbol de nuez viejo para descansar debajo. El porche envolvente con sus mecedoras es el lugar perfecto para ver la propiedad o tomar una siesta en nuestra cama basculante de cedro.

Traiga sus propias bicicletas o use nuestras dos bicicletas para invitados para recorrer el campo sinuoso. A los motociclistas les encantará quedarse aquí y recorrer kilómetros y kilómetros de pintorescas carreteras del condado.

Great location for a peaceful family stay

We stayed there to experience the ranch life and it truly was the experience we expected. My kids loved the farm animals, my dog loved the huge space to run around, we enjoyed it the patio and wood burning fire pit. We loved everything there! Will definitely book it again if need to stay in the area!

Amazing, peaceful and beautiful!

The Winding Ridge bed and breakfast is way more than just a bed and breakfast. The accommodations were clean, and inviting. The house was completely stocked with everything you need and want. The grounds are beautiful and so much fun to explore. Totally kid and family friendly. We can’t wait to go back!!

Perfect country getaway

My family had such a great stay at Winding Ridge! Everything about the property is inviting and relaxing, and the owners are so gracious and welcoming. One of our best vacations ever, none of us wanted to leave! My kids loved all the animals and spending so much time outdoors, the adults appreciated all the areas to sit back and relax, read a book or just enjoy the scenery. The home itself is very well appointed and comfortable. We can't wait to return!

PERFECT!!!

Can’t say enough about how great our stay was!! Didn’t have to take a plane since the home was so close to the DFW area, home and amenities are A+++, super comfortable beds, beautiful location (who knew the Ennis area had rolling hills), etc. Owner is very attentive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this to families or couples just wanting to take a break.

A perfect VRBO experience!

This was one of the best vacation rentals I have had. The house was peaceful, very clean, and had every creature comfort we could ask for. There were so many little lovely touches that enhanced the experience. It was like staying at your grandma's country house - if your grandma were an art collector with a professional hospitality background. Delinda was a welcoming host, the animals were sweet, and our family can't wait to return.

2nd Time Here - Will Be Back!!!

My family and I can’t get enough of Delinda’s place. From the ranch feel when you walk in and all the other fun amenities on the property to getting the opportunity to play with all the animals, this place doesn’t disappoint! We had perfect weather while we were there, luckily. Peanut, our dog, loves it there too although the goats aren’t fans. Thank you Delinda for sharing your little slice of heaven with us again!

The best family meeting place ever!

This was the perfect meeting place for 2 families coming from different directions. The house was spacious, absolutely clean, and a welcoming combination of elegance and comfort. The beds were cozy, the bathroom tubs luxurious. There were lots of things to entertain young children, like a great big porch swing, a fire pit for s'mores, and the friendliest animals to pet. There was even a private reading cottage if being alone was your thing. We've met in lots of places but this home is by far the best.

Heaven on Earth

Delinda created a true haven here. Safe from worries, stress and full of relaxing, rejuvenating experience. From mind-blowing attention to detail and skillful placement, to the wholesome food and coffee provided, the whole experience sets the bar high for what good hosting truly embodies. Thank you so much for sharing your great taste and warmth, this is my second time and we will be back again soon. Kids truly loved it too, they adore the pool, roaming the grounds and petting all the animals. And we love the fact that they can go freely as the grounds are so vast.

A country escape

We have stayed in many VRBO rentals and this one is definately a favorite. The guest cottage is beautiful and very homey. Everything you could want to make your vacation relaxing is there. The kitchen is fully stocked and the beds are very comfortable. The decor is country and very charming. The photos do not do it justice. This guest house was extremely spacious for our family of four. The guest house is on a beautiful farm with horses,donkeys and goats. Petting the animals was a highlight for all. There is no better place to relax and unwind. We hope to return soon!

Perfection

We travel a lot as a family and this may be our favorite new spot. DeLinda was a wonderful gracious host and the property was amazing. Every positive review on here was true. My family traveled from Pennsylvania to Texas and we were more than pleased with everything about the property and hosts. I really wish we lived closer to visit more often. It was relaxing and beautiful. The animals were fun and my kids enjoyed feeding them carrots. The porch swing bed was the prime for sunset watching each night. We all give this vacation a perfect 10! ...and we were so sad to leave.

to delinda, thank you for one of those experiences I'll always remember. I'm kind of at a loss to describe this place. the exquisite natural surroundings, the home, beautifully appointed, close to the city if you require it, but all the space you need for blissful relaxation. and everything you'd want in order to feel welcome. you're a true example of what you hope for in a host, to feel comfort and generosity from them. and freedom to be yourself. I can't capture my time there in words. I am just so appreciative. and I miss that little foal.

Absolutely the best place to stay!

Our family of 5 (kids aged 9, 6, and 2) stayed here for a week. It was by far the best rental we have stayed at. If you are looking at this house considering booking, do it- you will NOT be disappointed. Like stated in the previous review, the photos just do not do it justice. The house truly has anything you might need for your stay. Inside the house is beautifully decorated, down to every detail. The linens and towels are all very high quality. But the highlight of our trip was not inside the house, it was outside. There is a fabulous swing/bed on the back porch that you could spend your entire stay on, reading, relaxing, watching the sun set, etc. We used the hot tub almost every night. We also loved the animals next door. One fun thing we did as a family during our visit was go to the drive-in, about 10 minutes away. The house and it's surroundings are also a photographer's dream. I got some fantastic shots of the kids/family while we are there (and I'm not even a photographer). All in all, we made memories that will last a lifetime while we were there last week. Delinda was also a fabulous host. I hope to return there again some day, and in the mean time will be recommending this property to everyone that will listen.

Perfect House with Magical Gardens

My wife and I have decided that this rental is firmly in the top 3 VRBO rentals we have ever stayed in. The other 2 are on Kauai and Little Cayman for a frame of reference. How does that happen near Ennis Texas? Well, the property is immaculate. The house was super clean and comfortable, the grounds are simply amazing. We enjoyed the inside and outside fireplaces (Apologies to the property owner but we burned all your wood along with 6 bundles we bought). The host is super responsive - we never had a problem, just a few questions, and she had great recommendations for the area. This was thanksgiving weekend and great memories were made when our family visited the property. Feeding the horses and donkeys was a real hit (bring carrots) and our 4 year old niece decided that the beautiful little cabin was hers and welcomed visitors. :-) The Gardens and the open spaces are really spectacular - even so late in the year - just natural beauty all around and little surprises around every corner. As avid gardeners we understand and appreciate the work and imagination that went into the property. The wrap round deck and the outdoor covered patio with Solo Yukon stove was a great place to hang with the family - even in November weather. We have the same stove and it eats wood very quickly. I highly recommend bringing lots of firewood - its worth the expense. There's only one thing that could be improved upon and that is the oven - it's small. I'm guessing most people don't care :)

Another wonderful stay at Winding Ridge

This was our second stay at winding ridge, and it won't be the last. Everything was what you would hope for: sparkling clean, including the hot tub and pool; comfy beds; good wifi; beautiful landscape; blissfully quiet; and the friendliest farm animals ever! You'll feel like you're staying with a good friend. And if you've ever wanted to cuddle a mini donkey, this is your chance!
