We stayed for the weekend during our son's fishing tournament and had a great time. The living room is quite spacious as were the bedrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed the cows "next door" and the large kitchen. If you are in need of WiFi, it is a bit spotty so make sure to bring a backup. Overall the stay was great.
Check in and communication with the owner was very good. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and plates, glasses, etc.
We booked the 'Lake House' for a fishing tournament at Lake O, which I'd assume is why most do. At first glance the home looks clean, but the floors, faucets were dirty. Which we found ironic, as their rules specifically state to not wear outside shoes in the home. There were dead bugs in most of the rooms. On one morning I went to take a shower and was greated by a german cockroach in the shower. We also had the downstairs toilet clog up on us. We notified the property manager as soon as it happened (9pmish) and they came out the next day around 4pm to fix it. However, they told us to not use toilet paper in the toilets to prevent any issues!!When I spoke to the property manager about the issues, it came off as it was our fault for all the issues because they kept saying they never had these issues other guests? But they have bug zapper things in every room?!!The home is in a very quiet location and if you could overlook the bugs, it would be a nice stay.
