Had such a relaxing and fun stay! Home was immaculate and comfortable. Close to so many good restaurants and activities. Neighborhood was quiet and a neighbor even came over to salt the sidewalk so we’d be safe!
This house is in a great location. It is in walking distance to restaurants and in a quiet neighborhood. There is a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and tub in the basement. The main floor is the kitchen, dining room, and living room. The top floor has the three bedrooms and a full bathroom. Unless everyone wants to share the bathroom by the bedrooms, someone has to go down two flights of stairs to shower. Not a big deal, but just something to be aware of. The house is well-appointed and has old home charm. We didn’t have any problems that required our host’s attention but the communication was great. I would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for a month to be close to family. The host was extremely responsive both during the reservation process and throughout our stay. As noted in other reviews, the beds are comfortable and the location is terrific. For a longer stay, the kitchen is a bit of a challenge if you plan to do much cooking, but great option for short term stays.
Very easy check-in. Everything worked well. Window AC units on the second floor were very effective at keeping the whole house cool. Note there is only one bathroom and it is on the second floor.
Everything you’d like to experience in a historic residence in a safe neighborhood. Yes the floors creak a little but that just adds to the charm. Host went out of her way to return a forgotten piece of luggage. We’ll be back someday.
Came to town for the Lions vs Vikings game. House was great! Great location for walking to restaurants. Easy to get to bus if needed. Close enough to get to game with ease. Had a great time! Host was very quick to respond on any inquiries. Highly recommend for great stay!
Lovely older home with simple but essential furnishings in a quiet walkable neighborhood near everything you need. The location was perfect for us with easy access to major attractions and downtown. We recommend it is a fine family home. A second modern bathroom with shower is in a carpeted dry basement.
This very nice house was the perfect place for our family to stay while we had events and various activities in Uptown. Lovely old two story with bedrooms upstairs, comfortable beds. Did appreciate the use of a crib and a high chair for our grandchild. Very clean and inviting. It was the perfect location for us and would like to stay again if the need arises. Thank you!

Overall a nice place to visit, property owners were fast to answer me if I had any questions which was very helpful. The house is nice but dated, house creaks where ever you go and you couldn't go on the balcony of the roof as there was a sign saying do not go on. I did like the home for the price but could use some new furniture in the living and dining room. As well a bigger TV, the bedrooms were done well.
I would recommend staying here, the size of the house and the location is a big plus.
This house was perfect for our recent stay in Minneapolis during the Big 10 Basketball Tournament. The location was great - quiet neighborhood, but walking distance to stores. Public transportation was easy to navigate to all of the places we visited, including the Target Center. The house was charming with a fully equipped kitchen and classic touches, from built-ins to the 3-season porch. Where the host really scored, though, was the obvious attention to comfortable sleeping arrangements. I've stayed in a lot of rentals, and this may have had the most comfortable beds and pillows I've come across. We all got great sleep which allowed us to enjoy long days at the basketball games and nights exploring the restaurants and bars.
Overall it was fine, but the house needed more mirrors in the bedrooms and garbage baskets in the rooms. There was a power outage our last night that went into the following morning, and I had to get in touch with the host to get an update. She wasn't proactive with the information. I was disappointed about that.Otherwise, the house was clean and the lock was very easy to use. There's only one shower, but there are 2 toilets.
