Beautifully interior designed to a high standard, accommodation consists of large open plan reception room with 42" flat screen TV & extensive DVD library, sleek, modern designer kitchen with granite worktops, dishwasher, induction hob, double oven, microwave, filtered water tap and every gourmet chefs gadget imaginable. The large master bedroom has super king size bed beautifully carved Balinese headboard, with bay window, overhead fan. The big dining area with table that seats comfortably 10 for family gatherings with windows looking into the 40' private landscaped rear garden. French doors leading out to the big deck and garden with gas BBQ, tables, chairs.
Second bedroom with zip & link single beds is zipped together to make a queen size bed.
The beautifully designed main bathroom has jacuzzi style bath with overhead shower, vanity unit and wc.
The second bathroom has a enclosed shower, sink and wc.
There is off street parking for 1 car but please check with us first as other units might have booked it.
The property is very suitable for the less able person, with only a 10cm front door step and a 4cm step to bathrooms and second bedroom all the rest is one level.
Good for allergy sufferers; Floors are all tiles or wood, sofas are leather, the only 'soft furnishings' are the dining room chairs and 1 wool rug in lounge.
We have a wonderful property manager to welcome you and to help with anything she can.
Close to Kew Gardens Station, National Archives, Kew Gardens, Twickenham Stadium, Richmond, Restaurants, Pubs, Grocery store, Bank, Health Food store and lots more. You’ll love my place because of the location. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets) please CHECK first.

Great location can get to the tube easily
We had never been in this area it was a lovely safe neighborhood. We were able to and come on the tube. The kitchen was well stocked and a great outdoor space. Would love to go again the hosts were delightful as we were able to meet them.
Couldn't wish for better
Myself and my 2 teenage daughters stayed here for a week on the last leg of a trip to Europe recently. We absolutely couldn't have wished for a more comfortable, homely and restful place to stay. Suzie is the perfect host and everything in the house is catered to make your stay comfortable.
It is very close to the train station and we were able to explore all that London has to offer, and then retreat into our own haven at the end of each day. There is so much room to spread out and relax. The beds were extremely comfortable, the neighbourhood is so safe and one really feels like you're living like a Londoner. My daughters also adored the friendly cats who visited on occassion!
We now have the perfect place to come back to on our next trip to London. Thanks Suzie for a memorable stay!

Superb location, beautiful area
This was the second time we stayed at this apartment. It is a home away from home for us. I'd really like to give it a 'poor' rating to deter others from booking so that it would be there for us whenever we wanted to stay, but that is too unfair and devious!
While the ground floor apartment is on a fairly busy road the double glazing reduces the noise impressively. The beautiful walled garden at the rear is secluded, private, landscaped with wonderful opportunities for local bird watching. Kitchen is amply supplied with cooking and eating/drinking equipment; dining table is huge with lovely view of garden. The two bathrooms are a bonus for us so we are not fighting over sinks for tooth brushing. We are able to have the main bedroom set up as a king bedded room but it has the flexibility to be two full size singles. It has adequate wardrobe space although on our second visit, some of this was locked so space was a little limited. Excellent desk in bedroom as a second work area if needed. The second bedroom has two narrow singles and is a long room, but a little narrow, it has no wardrobe, so regular use for longer term visitors could be awkward.
Plenty of sitting space in the lounge with flat screen TV.
If there are any drawbacks it is that the two cats live in the apartment rather than 'walking through' as implied in the advert, they can be underfoot when cooking, although this may also be the effect of colder weather - it was a chilly February the last time we stayed.
The apartment is very conviently located for the underground, surface trains, and bus routes - no more than a 10 minute walk to Kew Village shops - excellent restaurants (Indian, pub style, Greek, Anthony Worrell Thompson (sp?) at "The Kew Grill") - which has small Tesco, Starbucks, Post Office, bank machines, real Butchers with superb meat, bread shop, book shop, wine store. Kew Green and access to Kew Gardens is only 15 minutes walk away, and the National Archives are 10 minutes walk away. Kew Retail Park with large Marks & Spencer, Boots Chemist is a 5 minute walk away. Quiet walks through residential streets to larger supermarkets and Richmond, along the Thames in both directions easily available - river path walk to Richmond about an hour.
Wishes: That there was a better vacuum cleaner. Although you are not required to clean, but with food crumbs and cat fur I did want to do a whizz through.
This apartment is just great for us and we plan on staying again.
London holiday in September, 2011
Our stay at Susie's London flat was wonderful. It is located in a relatively quiet area of Kew and about a block from the underground station. There are delightful restaurants and shops nearby.
The flat was quite modern and exceptionally clean, with lots of homey touches such as a wide selection of cooking utensils, spices, and DVDs for entertainment. We felt right at home with the resident cats, and the flat will be our home away from home in the future!

London garden apt review
